I need a workout routine. I want to get back into being in shape. I can workout 3 times a day and I want to dop some weight but I really want to boost my strength, so any tips on what lifts and what types activity I should do? I really want my strength back. Also, how long would it take me to get back to a 300lbs. bench press, I can still max out at 235Lbs now.

Getting Back into it
-
It would take you several months at best to break 300 again if you're only doing 235 now. The minimum I would geustimate would be 5-6 months, ands thats the fastest I would think you'd gain it back. Gaining 2.5 pounds per week (10 pounds per month) is great progress for just about anyone, so you're gonna haveta have some dedication. I will say it's easier to get it back once you've already had it.

k, but what kind of reps, becuase i have always doen bulk training, but i do not want to do that b/c I am not play o-line anymore.
-
if your main goal is strength, stick to heavy weight low reps. If you're not interested in gettin much bigger then try different types of powerlifting routines as they try to get as strong as possible while not getting any bigger.Say 8 sets of 3 reps with really heavy weight would mainly build strength. I wouldnt suggest this load for every exercise though, just your main lifts.

yeah, i kinda figured that.
-
Sure you did.
-
no , i did. i worked out for 4 years straight before I got to college.

Hey man. I'm trying to get back into it too. It's been hard getting motivation. I think it helps to have a workout partner.
-
it definately helps to have a partner! An equally motivated partner will help A TON! Some days you dont feel like goin, but you already had an obligation to train w/ one of your buddies. One day you dont feel like lifting heavy, your training partner is there to motivate you. I have found it very rare for both people to be "unmotivated" on the same day, so it helps a lot.

It's also good it they're about the same strength as you. A little competition is great to get you going.
-
I personally like to train w/ someone stronger than me, so I'll be motivated to catch them. LOL, but now-a-days finding a friend stronger than me is rare

See that is what I used to have back in Cali., but here in Indiana I have not found anyone who is as motivated as me, and my friend back at home is also having problems without a good workout buddy.
