Theoretically, what would happen if a girl took estrogen? Now Ive been wondering that for a while but never could find an answer... lol Don't ask, sometimes weird questions will just pop in your head and bug the hell out of ya
Too much estrogen may increase a woman's risk of breast cancer, heart disease and stroke. In addition, it may increase the risk of ovarian cancer. It may produce nausea or headaches. Very high amounts contribute to abnormal blood clotting, potentially increasing the risk of stroke or heart attack. It may also increase the chance of developing varicose veins and gallbladder disease. High estrogen doubles the risk of developing cancer of the uterine lining.
Many birth control pills have estrogen. I think taking additional estrogen might mess up your menstrual cycle.
