I dont know exactly why, but I am completely against birth control pills, or the patch, or anything that puts something unnatural into your body. I know I never want to take it. I feel like I would be conforming to society and I dont want it to be a part of my everday life. I dont want to put something unnatural in my body.I really just want to know if anybody else agrees with me. I have a hard time explaining myself, people really don't understand why I dont believe in it...even I dont really know.Im not having sex (and am still a virgin) and i do believe in condoms...just with birth contol its another story.anybody else agree with me?

A lot of times women aren't even taking the pill because of sex. Some women have to take it in order to get their period, or because of ovarian cysts.
-
It's also a good treatment for painful periods.

Me and my girlfriend had the whole "Sex" talk, and she is against birth control pills, condoms, and the pull-out method. She mentioned some chart women are suppose to follow to see what days they can have sex without getting pregnant... Does anyone know how accurate this chart is?

I believe that's called the "rhythm method." I'm not sure how well it works, but I know that it isn't as good as other forms of bc. It also limits sexual spontaneity a wee bit.
-
The rhythm method is not very reliable at all. It's really only suitable if getting pregnant wouldn't be a big problem. It can be made a little more reliable by checking when ovulation occurs through careful observation of temperature (the temperature method) or mucus (the Billings method), but even with these the reliability is still not terribly good.

I think abstinence is great for those who can endure it. Big props to ya'll. Otherwise, I think forms of BC is good. We've got to do something about overpopulation.

if you don't use the more reliable birth control methods, you will be conforming to society by having children.
