in the midst of having sex last night, my boyfriend went inside me without a condom, but he did not finish until a lot later, and he was was out of me for a while later before he finished. is there a chance that i could be pregnant?thanks
-
?

Did he ejaculate inside you? If he did, there's a fair chance. If he didn't, there's a slight chance.
-
no - he went inside me for a minute and then he went out because we both knew it wasn't right. he didn't go back in me again and i finished him off outside of me. so how does it look now?
-
There is still a chance that you can get pregnant from precum. Are you on birth control? If a condom is the only contraceptive you were using and he was inside of you then it's best to go get a pregnancy test to be sure.
-
when should the pregnancy test be done? should i wait until my next period to see if i get it? i just finished my period the other day and had sex last night.we didn't use protection. i know it's wrong, but we didn't really have sex the entire time. he went in for a minute at the most, and he came out and i jerked him off for him to finish. he was not inside when he came, and he wasn't close to finishing while he was inside either. we both finished later.thanks

If you'd just finished your period, it's very unlikely you'll be pregnant. You'll have to wait until the next one to be sure. Generally pregnancy tests can be taken as soon as you would have got your period but haven't.

I'm not sure when women can use a pregnancy test to determine if they are pregnant or not. Like if there is a waiting period or whatever. All I can tell you is sometimes pre-ejaculate contains sperm, and any sperm placed inside of you has a chance of getting you pregnant.
The most fertile time of the cycle is directly in between periods. If you had your period and then had sex right after and there was sperm in his pre-ejaculate, then sperm can live for close to that fertility time. I think your chances are small, but it's still a chance none the less.

well, i just finished my period last night and had sex last night, sooo...
i am kind of worried now. it was pretty stupid on my part to let him in, but i thought it would be okay if it wasn't the entire time. i have learned my lesson and will be more careful next time.
i guess i have to wait and see until next month.
:frowning: -
I wouldn't worry about it too much.
-
The best thing about this is it's a lesson learned. Is there a reason you haven't looked into birth control?
-
i have looked at birth control, but i am not sure if i would like to go on it. i mean, i definitely want to, but i am just concerned about the side effects and also, there is not much known about long term side effects, which is what i am most concerned about.i am almost positive that i will go on birth control soon, i am just being very indecisive.thanks

There are hardly any side effects with the pill. If there are they're so minimial. The pill has been around for quite a while and is used to treat a variety of female problems. It's actually quite healthy for a woman.

Actually, the birth control pill was first introduced to the public in the early 1960s. These days, the pill is often used to help with minor medical conditions... for example acne.
-
isn't that what i said?
-
I found my post a little more informative. lol. But, yeah it was pretty much the same.
-
oh i see you added the word acne
-
and don't forget early 1960s. heheh. Don't worry Amanda, just think of me repeating you as me wanting to be more like you. You are a smarty after all.
