It seems like the most common STD is herpes either symplex one or two. But everyone who has ever had a cold sore in there life 60-90% of the population has had a cold sore so doesn't that mean we all have Herpes Symplex 1? And if i'm reading it all correctly why is everyone always like omg herpes S-1, when everyone has it? Someone wanna clarify this for me?
I'll give it a shot...
Its not the most common STI among teens (chlamydia is) bit a majority of the population have it. A lot of people don't realize that it can ba a cold sore, fever blister, ulcer, chickenpox, or canker sore, and that they can be spread from the mouth of one partner to the genitals of another.
Also, people start flipping out when they realize what it is and that they have it because now its like they have an STI, when in reality, it can be transmitted from mother to fetus during childbirth or given to us very young from people kissing us as babies.
Hey there. I do not have Herpes 1, never had anything on my mouth. There are many people i know who dont have that. But the bad thing is I have Herpes 2 which is so much worse than nr 1. I dont think Herpes 1 is OMG!! People should rather say Herpes 2 is OMG! It´s the worst thing that happened to me...
