the life a cab driver isn't so hot...lol...to start...you have to pay like $10,000 for the cab drivers' lisence(not sure if that's really what its called)...then when u get picked up by a company...you make like minimum wage...and depending where you are working...the company sets a per mile price...its usually $5+20cents per mile...in most places...so i've heard...

were i live the licensed cost 50 bucks and you rent a cab for 75 dollars a day and you get to keep the differnce of what ever you make

i must be thinking of pilot's lisence then...any who...i think he was talking about the city type cab driving...like NYC ect...

I'm talking actual cab. Like city cab. I saw one on AMW the other night and I was just curious to what they make.

My friend drove a cab. He worked for Yellow Cab here in Cleveland. You just rent the cab and keep what's left over. Van cab's are a little more to rent. I think you have to give them the cost of what the actual ride was for each customer. Not sure though. But you get to keep the tips.
