I am pretty sure that I have one or somthing weird that is wrong with me, Ill just list off all the symptoms that I have. But first of all im very close to 17 years old and I'm a white male. I feel like somtimes my eyes are over sensitive to light, occasionally it will just come on and bothers me for a while, then some days nothing happens at all. I have somewhat frequent headaches normally not severe at all and if I leave them alone they normally go away after an hour or so. While I do have headaches I have head pains too, where I will feel a short little jab of pain in my head or my neck. Ocassionally I have bad tastes in my mouth and occasionally my ears ring-both seem to be totally random. I find that often my neck aches or the muscles on your skull that you use to squint are often sore. Alot of times when I'm sitting or laying down and I get up really fast I feel dizzy and theres a redish-blueish tunnel around my vision for a second. Somtimes when I bend my headback I feel like nerves are grinding or somthing. Somtimes I can feel a weird pulse in my ear. I do own a pair of glasses though I havent been wearing them(they were prescribed a year ago-I dont need them to fully function at all though but it seems to be easier on my eyes with them on) however I started wearing them today since I'm terrified. Also when my head is upside down, I feel lots of pressure build up in there and its pretty uncomfortable. Maybe some of these things can be explained and are normal but I feel theres too many conincidences for this not to be somthing very serious. I do have a doctors appointment in 2 weeks but I'm very scared, and if you guys think this is nothing/normal or somthing that isnt serious at all which could fit all this together I'd really like to know.

Brain Aneurysm or somthing
-
I know, every now and then I have like an episode where I have built up enough symptoms then I go type it in on the web and I found out they are symptoms to some deadly illness and it scares the bejesus out of me-until someone like my doctor makes me feel better. But this time I think I actually have somthing, look at all those symptoms. It also might be helpful that I mention somtimes the area behind my ears gets all achy and somtimes my ears just hurt for a few minutes. Also I find that it is Really easy to cut off the flow of my blood. In my study hall class somtimes I will sleep(drowziness another symptom of aneurysm) and then occasionally I will twitch. Also normally when I wake up my arms are paralyzed because I just slept on them for about 40 minutes, which I dont think is normal.

Stop obsessing over these things. You're fine.

Ok, imagine I have never posted here so you don't know that I worry about things alot. Don't these symptoms sound like they could be somthing serious??

Dont forget about the smell I had from one of my previous threads In reply to: First of all, ive noticed my eyes have been more sensative to light over the past year, I'm supposed to wear my glasses, but I dont since I can see fine without them but things are just a Tad blurry(not sure if that could be a contrubuted to symtoms rather than a tumor). Also last year when I went to see my doctor about occasional ringing in my ears, he couldnt seem to find and infection, but he gave me a hearing test and told me I had a disturbing hearing pattern. We really just left it at that. Now recently(about a month ago) my doc put me on dyclomine for abdominal pains, yea he seemd to help. Then just last week there was a 3day weekend for school so I go up to my friends(in michigan) for the weekend. On day 2 of 3(saturday) at like 10pm(i havent had my dicylomine since thursday morning since we left and I didnt bring any) I just get this pretty awful/funky smell in my nose, never ends up disapating till (well I feel asleep sunday still with the sensation) woke up monday and it was gone. Everysince then Ive been getting the occasional slight wiff of this phantom smell, somtimes it makes me feel sick to my stomach. I get occasional headaches nowadays they seem to be caused by the sensativity to light. Also somtimes I notice an off taste in my mouth(never noticed this until I read it was a symptom, but Ive always noticed a bad taste in my mouth after brushing my teeth). Somtimes in school I will go from moments of awakeness to feeling pretty tired all the sudden, and I rarely (but often enough to scare me) write down things I dont want to, like 5 instead of 3. Thats a really scary and serious thing. Also one of my muscles in my arm twitched for about 4 minutes today. Also i heard the word MRI and I think that could be a sign that I need a MRI.

You're fine!!!

Shib, it's quite possible that many of your symptoms are generated by your brain, as part of the hypochondria. The unconscious part of the brain can sometimes try to help out with what it thinks is required, and make stuff up. (That's how hypnosis works.) A treatment that deals with underlying anxiety and its causes might help a lot.

I'm a hypocondriac. I obsess about any kind of health issue you can. I even obsessed about STDS until I was tested under everything for the sun. One tell-tale sign of hypocondrism is when you fret about illness and being ill constantly. Then a doctor or other knowledgable person tells you are fine, and you feel temporarily relieved, and go right back to doing it. It's horrible. I was put on some OCD (obssessive compulsive disorder) medication and am doing much better with the whole hypocondriac thing.P.S. You would be amazed at what your mind is capable to doing to your body. You will get all kinds of symptoms you don't really have or that you are creating.

a brain anur...however you spel it, would kill you. and you would not be able to type it, generally, they just happen, not something you can detect, well in my experience anyway
-
there are no warning signs of aneurisms. what is sounds like to me is migraines. and they are right, dont obsess about things, youll be in a constant paranoia about every itch or twitch. and the built up pressure when your upside down...well...as far as i know, everyone has that. the bad tastes in your mouth...i think have nothing to do with your brain. your only 17...i think you need to brush your teeth more. also...ear ringing, and...well basically everything else that you said...soudns like mirgraines. stop fussing over aneurisms. if you were gonna have one, you would already be dead when you went to pick up a pair of clothes, or sneezed, or even possibly from laying down. and continue to wear your glasses untill your appointment. it cant hurt, now can it?
-
If you are so scared of this then you should go to a doctor instead of obbessing about it but it sounds to me like you are fine. Twitching light sensativity and head pains are part of life so see a doctor and let them tell you, you are fine.

Hello, im new to all this but i'll say a few things anyway. I'm having a similar problem to you, i constantly think theres something wrong with me. it began when i started the combined pill last november, then was obsessed thati was gonna die of a blood clot in my lungs... and for a while i was getting an irregular heart beat but got it checked out and its fine apparently. still happens though. however my latest problem is headaches and pains in my head, for 2 weeks there was a constant pain in the back of my head, doc said it was movement problem and im hoping its true. i cant get this obsesiveness out of my head with my health!!
