Molluscum...treating...

Like you will see in my other posts, I have/had molluscum. It doesn't really look like a pimple or clogged pore, at least in my opinion. Have you looked at any pictures? I haven't really heard or experienced any itching or pain or anything associated with the molluscum. The pox is kind of shiny, pink, and flat, sometimes with a little dip in the center. Inside is a very hard white ball, and it tends to bleed pretty bad when removed. After the center is removed, the spot heals really quickly. It can be spread by picking, so if you do pick it, wash your hands before and after (including under your nails!) as well as the area you picked at with soap and water. Many doctors don't recommend removing the centers yourself, but I did... My doctor gave me Aldara cream, which is some kind of cream that effects the immunity. Freezing them works the best for people that have it bad. I only had a few little dots on my inner thigh area. It's gone now; hopefully it won't come back. (Which it's really not supposed to, kinda like a chicken pox kinda thing.) My doctor looked at it and diagnosed it in about two seconds, so if you doctor doesn't think it is, then it's probably not. Oh, after picking mine, I never got any scabs either. They heal super fast.
