I have just started working as a full time pastry chef, which you need a lot of energy for. My boss has noticed that i am lacking energy. I eat a protein bar at 430 am for breakfast, I drink water whilist im working which is till 3pm. Everyday it becomes harder and harder to do anything. What should I do to get more energy? Are there any drugs I can take that wont ruin my body?
Are you getting bored at doing your job? If so, that could be it right there, that's making you have lack of energy.
There are some things you can do to boast energy, though I don't really recommend them that much, and they are: Coffee % Lucozade. Another alternative (if you don't do already) is to eat a healthy breakfast, as breakfast is 'your kick start to the day' - felt cheesy saying that So a mere protein bar is not going to be sufficient. I reccomend porridge & weetabix, and with that maybe have a bannana or some toast and to drink: Orange juice, milk etc.
Sometimes we say things that hurt ourselves and others that were not meant, so I leapt from my life's struggles and long running regret
How much sleep do you get a night and do you feel you are sleeping deeply? If you wake up multiple times throughout the night you may want to look into buying a mattress that suits you best. Also, taking a multivitamin like Centrum should help as well.
i get about 6 - 7 hours sleep each night. I have tried berocca and find that that does not work. Is centrum anything like it?
thanks for ur help
I'm not familiar with Berocca. I tried to find that brand that contained a lot of vitamins in it, but couldn't find it. Centrum has a bunch of vitamins in it. If you've ever seen a commercial for it, they advertise, that is has vitamins "from A to Zinc".
According to scientific study, the average full grown adult needs about 6 hours of sleep a night to function moderately. It sounds like you work long days and you probably just need more sleep.
