Interviews
-
One of the worst interviews I've ever been through involved the current job I have. It was advertised as your basic web design gig, but the interviewer kept asking me about women's skin care products. I didnt know a thing, but I winged it. Apparantly I did well cuz now I sell stuff like this: Strivectin to women in a cubicle all day. It beats some of the other stuff I've done...
-
By the way, Discharge is a sweet band.
-
Turns out I had an interview today and didn't even know it. I talked to my old boss's boss about a lot of random stuff, what's I've been doing since I last worked, etc. The next thing I know I get an e-mail offering 16 week contract. It feels good to be employed once again.
-
I started a new job this week, and it's already wearing me out.
-
What do you have to do?
-
I'm now working at a property management company. The paper work and computer work never ever ever stops coming in.
-
lol, i know the feel. I'm going to be working as a "relief" network tech. My old co-workers get about 30 problem calls a day each and things are getting behind, so they've asked me to come by for a little while and help get caught up. Nonetheless, I'm going to be troubleshooting non-stop. I'm actually excited though.
-
I usually have to travel to the problem call. Although, we do use remote desktop to resolve some issues that seem like they're software problems.
-
my brother in law was IT. He hated it. A lot of the problems were very simple and people just not knowing how to use computers.
-
There are a lot of those too.... but the one I hate are the complaints like, "MY COMPUTER IS SLOW! HELP ME!"..... I dread these calls because you don't know what their expectations of fast are. I mean, fast and slow are matters of opinion really.Hey Amanda, my ex is doing somewhat the same thing as you. She's extremely busy as well when she's at work. She often has to cancel lunch plans with her boyfriend or myself. A lot of times she has to work through lunch. I would hate to do that.
-
Yes I eat lunch at my desk while I'm working...there's really no "lunch break" for me
