Im 19 and as of april of last year, my libito is pretty much...well gone. Normally I would get urges like any other healthy guy, but now there is nothing. I have gone weeks and months without masturbating, because I have no urge or need to.Another thing is girls and porn in general have no affect on me now and I get no sense of arousal. It's like I am completley desensitized. I could look at the most hardcore porno ever and not feel anything. This is really starting to worry me because it has been going on for so long, and I know it isn't normal for a person my age to suddenly lose all desire.

Desire is gone

You're right - that isn't normal. It is normal for the sex drive to temporarily decline or even completely disappear for a little while during periods of extreme stress or illness. However it should only be temporary. Lack of sex drive for a long time could be a sign of a problem. I would see your doctor and have your testosterone levels checked. Testosterone is the main hormone that is responsible for the strong male sex drive. So its the first thing that should be checked if you have lack of sex drive. The good news is, if you do suffer from low testosterone, there are many different treatments, medications, and replacement therapies that can be prescribed by your doctor to bring the levels back up to normal.

Well, It could be depression, because that april was incredibly stressfull for me, and lots of bad shit went down. But what I don't get is this:Three and a half years (16 years old) ago I got clinical depression, and it was the type that manifested into illnesses that would not go away, like feeling sick and dizzy all the time. I was perscribed paxil and I was fine. I went off paxil 2 years later and was back to normal.During that WHOLE time even at my worst, I still had a sex drive. This is why I am so confused about the cause of this.

Its difficult to say - depression can manifest itself in different ways and have different effects on your body. Its also possible that this isn't a depression related problem, and could be a physical problem, which is why you need to see a doctor for a simple hormone level check. If you are uncomfortable seeing a doctor about this, there are home test kits for testosterone available too. You simply order the test kit, and when you get it, you put a few samples of your saliva into these small test tubes, and mail the samples to a lab, and they will send you the results in the mail in a week.
