I don't know what the hell my problem is but I find myself being really annoyed seeing the black guys at my school dating white girls. This never use to bother me and I dont know why it does now because I wouldn't hesiate dating another race. The cutest black guy on campus is dating a white girl and I look at them and want to throw something at them. Isn't that stupid? I don't even know why I care. Maybe it's because I'm single...

I Can't Stand Seeing Them Together

It sounds more like jealousy to me.
-
Probably...

is she blonde?

It's a natural reaction in all of us, and although people will not read more than what I am about to say, it is not necessarily a bad thing. For the thousands of years people have been on this earth, they have been separated by many things. Lanuages, cultural barriers, everything. America is the first country to get the idea to try and surmount that. Now I'm not saying that's a bad thing at all, I think we should all get along. But the problem is thus: we have failed. Blacks and whites are fundamentally different and although people will vehemently deny that race is more than skin deep, we all know this is not the case. The American Centers for Disease Control has issued many warnings about this, and I will post links. Please go there, and look past political correctness and look at the facts.AIDS cases by age and ethnicityAIDS mortality by racedeath rates due to HIVproportion of AIDS cases by ethnicityAnd especially thisDon't take any of this personally, remember this is government issued. I hate to see whites and blacks together at my school, though a lot of it is pride in my race. I am not racist, though some ignorant people probably think that from the links above. But I digress. Search the site, and there are many other sites, too. Find the answers you are looking for. Just don't ever be ashamed to be white. After all,can you name any great civilization created by anyone else?

Yep, it just sounds like you are jealous, thats all. But anyhoo, on to this ....
In reply to:

HMmmmmm Sounds a bit racist

Maybe you should do some more research. There are no genetic markers that define race. We are all human, fundamentally the same.
This "pride" you speak of, has implications that your race is superior to any other race. Your links have absolutely nothing to do with the original post. She's upset to see interracial couples, and you post links showing HIV/AIDS cases by race? And that answers her question because....???

In reply to: I hate to see whites and blacks together at my school, though a lot of it is pride in my race. Pride? What are you talking about? What does pride have to do with race. Regaurdless yes should have pride in your ethnicity. I have lots of friends outside my race and never have I though what they are. It's who they are that matters.

Wow...uh yeah. I'm sorry you spent all that time finding those statistics but actually do-the-dew...I'm black. A black female specifically. I don't see how you figured I was white. But anyways, I guess I have too much time on my hands. i bet of I had a love of my own, I wouldn't care about these other people. Let's hope I find someone!!!

In reply to: Would you want to throw something @ me if you saw me w/ my boyfriend (who is white)? I bet some white women do. lol.Edit: I was just thinking about it, and I've never dated inside my race. Interesting.
-
In reply to: Wait. You're filipino and you've dated white girls! That is outside your race. lol. That's right, I've never dated INSIDE my race though. They've all been white girls in fact.
-
In reply to: I hate to see whites and blacks together at my school, though a lot of it is pride in my race. I'm white and I have no problem with people dating a person of a diffrent race. Does that mean I don't have pride in my race? I'm sorry, it doesn't matter if you're black, white, asian, filipino, what ever, we're all human beings and we all bleed red. The only diffrence is the color of our skin. I don't understand why people are racsist against people with darker skin when they spend tons of money at a tanning bed so they can have dark skin too... wtf?
-
I think it could be really fun to date outside of my race... if a person looks good they look good regardless of color. Not only that, but who's to say you couldn't learn something new from one another?
-
Uhm U'll get use to it. But uh...I use to get jealous seeing my ex with another girl?? lol.
-
In response to do the dew you are racist and in denile. All humans are the same species, race is nothing more then the color of your skin. And unless you start nit-picking, you have no proof. There is not one MAJOR difference between people of different races. Your facts are nonsense. Read this if you want some real facts http://www.modernhumanorigins.com/anth372.html.To the topic starter: Many people feel the same way that you do. My grandparents are like this, and a lot of people at my school are like this. I would say that its a normal feeling, but it's something you should try to get over in my opinion. I know a lot of people just don't believe in races mixing, I don't see a reason for someone to think that. But who am I to start judging people.
-
In reply to:I think it's beautiful as a matter of fact i concur.seeing young ppl have total disregard of old, wrong societal bounds, stepping outside the box and showing to the world that they can value someone for their individuality is nothing short of beautiful.mizzdakota, perhaps you could learn to accept people as people, and not boxed into "black guy" + "white chick" etc

There are men (and women..hey I don't care. I'm comfortable with my sexuality ) from other races that I have found attractive. But I have only dated within my race and I'm white. There are a few people I probably would've dated form another race (I can think of one right off the bat) but not very many. As far as dating outside your race I don't see a problem with it. It's your life. Not someone else's. And if you live your life trying to make everyone else happy you're going to end up miserable. Interracial dating is still pretty taboo for some reason even though it's becoming more and more common. Anyhow, like I said, I've only dated within my race BUT that's not to say that I wouldn't date outside my race if I found someone that I cared about that much.
-
I have no problem with dating people outside of my race. I'm white and I have asked out (but got turned down by ) a friend of mine who is Chinese and at the moment I have my eyes on a girl from school who is Korean.I keep getting comments about me having an "asian fetish" but I just don't have a problem with different races. Untill it was pointed out to me, I never even noticed anything, and I still don't think that only 2 girls even counts as having a fetish.
-
I'm just chalking up the way I feel to me being lonely. I honestly don't care about IRRs because like I said before would not hesistate to date outside my race. I guess I was a little envious that the white girl could find her a black guy and I can't find any to go with. There's nothing more to it.

In reply to:In reply to:After all,can you name any great civilization created by anyone else?HMmmmmm Sounds a bit racistActually, no. Can you? Do some research. Prove me wrong.http://www.stormfront.org/posterity/race/AorN.htmlActually read this, and research what you doubt. It can't hurt. In reply to:Maybe you should do some more research. There are no genetic markers that define race. We are all human, fundamentally the same.Race, Evolution and BehaviorIn reply to:This "pride" you speak of, has implications that your race is superior to any other race. Your links have absolutely nothing to do with the original post. She's upset to see interracial couples, and you post links showing HIV/AIDS cases by race? And that answers her question because....???The pride that I speak of should be felt by all races, hers not least of all. She should be proud to be who she is, and should be offended by any of her race who wish to mix their bloodlines. To this day it is illegal in many parts of africa to intermarry. In reply to:Pride? What are you talking about? What does pride have to do with race. Regaurdless yes should have pride in your ethnicity. I have lots of friends outside my race and never have I though what they are. It's who they are that matters.I'm justifying her feelings. She should be proud of her heritage and not mix it with others'.In reply to:Wow...uh yeah. I'm sorry you spent all that time finding those statistics but actually do-the-dew...I'm black. A black female specifically. I don't see how you figured I was white. But anyways, I guess I have too much time on my hands. i bet of I had a love of my own, I wouldn't care about these other people. Let's hope I find someone!!!I stand corrected, but the statement I made still holds; You are black, your people lived for thousands of years totally apart from us and you have a long heritage. We do also. But neither of our peoples did it together, we did it alone. There is no reason to assume that multiracial cultures do better. They never have.In reply to:So, my comments to you are that you need to mind your own business and accept the fact that people are going to date outside of their race. Also, it may be racist on your part that you feel that way.She asked the board as a whole, making it the business of all registered members. I was, in a sense, asked to give her my opinion. I did not do it to condemn anyone and I did not do it in a hateful manner. You, on the other hand are blidly calling me racist, on absolutely no grounds. We have black history month, latino history month, etc. but none for whites? This is a double standard. White pride is just as valid as black pride, or gay pride, or anyone else's pride. In reply to:Would you want to throw something @ me if you saw me w/ my boyfriend (who is white)? No, I would just ask myself what your ancestors would think of it.In reply to:I'm white and I have no problem with people dating a person of a diffrent race. The only diffrence is the color of our skin. I don't understand why people are racsist against people with darker skin when they spend tons of money at a tanning bed so they can have dark skin too... wtf?We are all human, yes. But lions and leopards are cats. Do they interbreed? I realize it's an exaggerated example, but it's the same idea. And those types of people, by the way, are not racist, nor am I. They have no sense of cultural identity. Do you not recognize yourself as a black woman? Don't you feel proud to be black? Do I not have that same right? I thought you were for equality. In reply to:In response to do the dew you are racist and in denile. All humans are the same species, race is nothing more then the color of your skin. And unless you start nit-picking, you have no proof. There is not one MAJOR difference between people of different races. Your facts are nonsense. My facts are nonsense? For my answer to your statement about race being nothing more than the color of your skin, I will simply ask you to go hereI would say that its a normal feeling, but it's something you should try to get over in my opinion. I know a lot of people just don't believe in races mixing, I don't see a reason for someone to think that. But who am I to start judging people.I respect your opinion and understand your position. I hope you also understand mine. I do not hate anyone, least of all for race, which is something a person cannot choose. I just think that racial identity is one thing that makes us human, and we are slowly losing that.

In reply to: Actually, no. Can you? Do some research. Prove me wrong http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CivilizationProven wrong...That was easy In reply to: We have black history month, latino history month, etc. but none for whites? This is a double standard Not at all. Every month is white history month. The fact that we must isolate a single month and label it as black history month is in and of itself a realization that white history is the more prevalant one. In reply to: There is no reason to assume that multiracial cultures do better. They never have. Does this little place called America ring a bell? You know like the last superpower? Last I heard it was a multicultural culture. The fact is there is no biological definition of race. Race is merely a social construct. Its like time, something that man invented to make things easier. As I said earlier, we are fundamentally the same. In reply to: She should be proud to be who she is, and should be offended by any of her race who wish to mix their bloodlines Offended? Why? There is nothing wrong with pride in who you are, but when you imply that your race is superior, then there is a problem. Oh, and the sun still revolves around the Earth, right?
