I consider myself a really healthy eater. I try to grab an apple for breakfast because I don't have time to eat in the morning, and for lunch I buy a vegetable tray, a whole-grain sandwich, or a subway hoagie with water. Then for dinner I usually have a cooked meal. I rarely eat sweets, but whenever I do, it seems like that little amount goes a long way. I can immediately feel it in my gut..and it might just be in my head...but it feels like i'm getting a double chin. I walk on the tredmill most every night, and I'm burning 300 to 400 calories each time I do. I used to have personal fitness in the morning too, but now that the new semester is coming up, I won't have it. So here's my question..If i want to lose a few inches from my gut, what type of diet should I try? and what exercises target the stomach besides situps? I figure that when I'm walking on the tredmill the fat I'm burning isn't from my gut. That's my biggest problem area.
