Im 14 and I need to gain weight, preferably muscle instead of fat... Any ideas??

I have that same problem. What I did is I went to the Vitamin Shoppe and bought a 100% whey protein supplement powder (get a 10 lb can ), and a multi vitamin (ask what they recommend). Then I booked a session with a personal trainer so that I could learn some exercises for building muscle. If you don't want to get a personal trainer, then I'd suggest buying Arnold Schwartzenegger's (I think I spelled that right ) Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding. You can find that on Amazon.After you've got that all situated, get a buddy and hit the gym 3 times a week. Don't get inmpatient about gaining weight. From personal experience (I'm the same age as you are), I've realized that muscle takes SOOOOOO LOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGGGG to gain. Just focus on increasing how much you can lift, and the weight will come.I'd also suggest that you do some research on muscle recovery, and how to manipulate your diet so that it will work for you. Exercise and dit work hand-in-hand, so if you don't have both, then you won't get very good results.Oh yeah, and eat more :P .
