How water-resistant cum is? I mean it keeps its structure under a running sink..hmmm...I think I should change my hair gel. xD

Have you ever noticed...
-
Not really...whenever I take a shower after my cum gets wet it becomes thick and it wont get off my hand.
-
You're both right - it's because of glycoproteins that stick to themselves very well. The warm water of the shower can make it change its structure a bit, and also wash out some of the other stuff that helps keep them apart, so it becomes even stickier.

Wow...cum is so complicated? Why does it have to be so complicated? lol. I mean sperm can live in the uterus alone for a couple of days? Can't they?
-
I think it's sticky so it doesn't all immediately run out again when it's in the vagina.

This is why I NEVER use the whirl pool bath in a hotel room (at least not without running a jug of bleach through it first)barferific

Yeah, cum is very complicated - there are a lot of ingredients that go into cum, produced by 3 seperate glands, that have to all fire and mix at the exact time (during orgasm) to work. The stuff actually changes itself with time - when its first ejaculated, its thick and almost gelatenous, but after about 30-60 minutes it liquifies. Doctors aren't sure why it has to go through this thickness/liquifying process, but they theorize that its actually a function of our primitive ancestry - they think the thick form of semen is designed to block the sperm from any subsequent male that may deposit his sperm afterwards, and ensures that only your sperm will make it to the egg. Interesting theory, but its only a theory. They don't really have any other explanation as to why it has to be so thick upon ejaculation. Another theory is that the cum will cling to the cervix for a while, and certain hormones/enzymes in the semen will cause the cervix to relax and open more, allowing easier passage for the sperm to swim up to the uterus and fallopian tubes. This latter theory makes more sense to me.

More complicated than most guys then....
