I've got an appointment to have an STI scan done next week, but i'd like to know what you guys have to say about my situation.I've been with my girlfriend for over 8 months now and these symptoms have only began a month ago. I started having a really bad itch at the head of my penis. After a few days, i noticed that small bumps started coming out looking like pimples. They do not hurt, but they itch a lot. So they started going away right when i took a shower and made sure i soaped it up & cleaned throughoughly. A few weeks later, i started having the itchiness again, and low-and-behold the bumps started coming back. They are only on the head of my penis and do not appear beneath it (or on the shaft). My girlfriend does not show any symptoms. She confirms that these bumps look like pimples and not genital warts. What could it be? Would the STI test i am going to take be accurate if these bumps are not visible at that time?

Pimple-like small bumps - herpies?

Are you circumcised or not? If not, a yeast infection is quite possible and typical based on the symptoms you described. A female yeast infection creme clears it up in no time.

Thank you for your amazingly quick reply.
I failed to mention this in my first post..
I am uncircumcized, and it very well could be a yeast infection transmitted to me. Will the test let me know if i have one or not even with the bumps not showing up?

Now that you mention it, whenver the bumps come up, and while inspecting my penis, i can smell some foul odor. Is that consistant with Yeast Infections?

Pretty much yes. You don't need a test for yeast infection. I'll bet it wouldn't even show in a STD test, since they don't test for yeast infections. It's very common and is easily treated with OTC cremes.
