Whenever I blow my nose there is blood. This has been going on for aslong as I can remember. It's not like blood leaks out of my nose, it just seems to be mixed in with the snot. And my nose doesnt hurt and if I stick my finger up there it doesnt come out with blood. Any ideas on what it could be?

It's probably just dry up there, or allergies... I have that sometimes. Try dabbing a bit of moisturizer or vaseline up there with a cotton swab. You made want to try a humidifier too. If those don't work, you might want to ask a doctor.

Yes-what boodiddle said. Your nose may bleed especially in winter months because your furnace is on. Humidifiers work great. I suggest a cool mist humidifier. The warm mist ones are breeding grounds for bacteria.

Once winters over, I'll see if it continues. Thanks

Some people have capillaries in their nose that rupture easily. Doctors used to run a steady business cauterising noses, but you don't hear of that much now.

maybe you hvae a weak capiliary in your nose and it breaks a bit if you blow your nose, try blowing your nose gentler!
