quick question, after contracting HPV, you have the virus for the remainder of your life, right? Which means you can't have sex with anyone ever again without putting them at risk, condom or not??

If you have the HPV strain that causes warts and you aggressively treat the warts, there is a good chance that you can rid yourself of the virus. The problem with this is that you only treat that which can be seen. The virus can lie dormant in the skin elsewhere are reemerge at a later time. However, chances of infecting a partner is much reduced if there are no active lesions. Here is some good info on HPV, but it is very technical:http://www.emedicine.com/med/topic1037.htm
