I just started DESOGEN birthcontrol for the second time in my life. Back in August of 2004, I started, but then decided I didn't want to have sex with the person I was with, so after I took all my white pills for that month, and a few of the green ones, I stopped. Now it is February, and I started again. I started 14 days ago, on the first day of my period like I am supposed to. 14 days later, I still have my period, or what it seems to be my period. I think its light spotting? It is very small amounts of blood, maybe a drop or two. Is this normal? Should I be concerned or worried? My next period should be in about 7 days, that is when I will start on teh green pills... so if it doesn't end then I will have had my period for a month continously? Help, what do you all think?
PERIOD and BIRTH CONTROL>> 14 days!!
It's common to have breakthrough bleeding. It can happen for as long as a year.
