I have read some articles saying humans should eat no more than 65 grams of fat per day. Well, I cant accuratly count my grams of fat I eat but im pretty sure most days I eat more than 65+ grams of fat per day. Does this mean I will become fat + how many grams do I burn if I run for about 10 mins? Anyone in these fourms eat more or less than 65grams of fat?

65 Grams of Fat Per day

that all depends on how heavy you are, and your body mass index. an average healthy amount of fat intake is between 30 and 50 grams. if you would like the complete formulas to calculate your fat, just pm me.

I take in a lot more than that, but I'm still skinny.

I'm pretty sure that my healthy daily fat intake is about 80g. That's what it was when I calculated it, although I've forgotten exactly what it involved. The key is to make sure that the majority of your fat intake is unsaturated. The amount of recommended saturated fat is something like 15g (rough estimate) so it should be a far more minimal type in your diet.

The key to a healthy diet is to have:10-35% Calories from protein20-30% Calories from fat40-65% Calories from carbohydratesIf your eating more than 65g of fat you need to try to eliminate some of your unhealthy food choices. But most important thing is to limit your saturated and trans fat to a minimum.
