I had fibroid tumors...these are noncancerous tumors that depending on where you look between 50%to 80% of women have. One in four women will need treatment. The usual "treatment" is a hysterectomy. I refused this despite having serious problems. I was losing a lot of blood each day. How much? In one weekend I lost enough to need a transfusion. Not all fibroids cause bleeding it depends on the location of the tumor in the uterus. The problem is that now that I have been on medication that imitated menopause and then i had surgery twice (in one year do to Dr error)to remove the tumors I have:1) less lubrication when aroused2) less feeling in the vagina 3) I have not felt uterine contractions since the second surgery (meaning no cramps during my period but also uterine orgasms now)4) Labia pain since the second surgery near the time of my periodHas anyone else gone through this and noticed anything like this?

I feel for you! I lived with a woman with fibroids for a couple of years. She would be fine for a while, then a total mess for a while. From what I hear, in the years after we broke up she got married and had 2 children.I did hear that pregnatcy can be a cure but that might be a bit of an urban ledgend.
