Can puberty go on hold

It can seem to start and stop, yes. It often doesn't follow the way it's supposed to in the textbooks. Things can happen in a different order to what the textbooks say, too. What has happened so far and what hasn't happened?

Yeah, that's normal for some guys. Puberty rates are different for everyone. It may seem like it stops sometimes, but it doesn't - its just the changes are so slow it seems like it stopped. Like I started puberty at 12 with some pubic hair, acne, and growth in my testicle size, but then from 13 through most of 14, I didn't have much additional change - it seemed like puberty had kind of stalled for me. But then late 14, and 15, puberty went wild on me and everything changed really fast. Everything worked out fine in the end with me, so yeah, its normal.

i can understand that, i am 14 on the 18th and it was weird, in about 2 months i grew about 4 inches and grew over 2 inches in another place, but even though i am not tall or long but i am not near done with puberty, it just STOPPED out of nowhere...it's starting again i think though because i am getting taller yet again.
