Skin stopping foreskin retraction?
-
my foreskin has always fully retracted. I always thought of this as normal. keep pulling it back!!

In reply to:i think there is a little skin attatching the foreskin to the top of the head...does anyone know what this is and how to fix it? If the skin attachment is on the underside of the penis, below the urethra opening (pee hole), then that is your frenulum, and its completely normal. If the attachment is on the top or side of your glans (head), then that is a skin adhesion, which is not so normal (although not uncommon either, especially in foreskins that haven't been retracted before ). Some adhesions can work themselves free just by keep stretching the foreskin back, while others are more severe and may require a doctor to release the adhesion with a scalpel.

In reply to:keep pulling it back!! Eh, hell no! True, sometimes it can be pulled free, but in some cases it is very strong and as said needs to be cut by a doctor. Just pulling it can cause some very serious damage! You should just go see a doctor about it.

yes it is on the underside, is it usually attached that high or...., becuase i can pull it back so that the top of the head is exposed but i dont believe any further...
-
jeeze....cut, not that would hurt i bet....:(
-
Well, he doesn't just cut it, you go into surgery.

hmmm...is there any reason why the skin that is attatching it is so short? and also can that small piece of skin be stretched or??

Check the male anatomy thread at the top of this forum here: Male anatomy Look under foreskin retraction section to see how the foreskin should retract, and what the frenulum is supposed to look like on the underside. The frenulum is elastic, so you should be able to stretch it to get it to retract more.
