Okay, I'm male, and I'm twenty. First of all, I was single and was not with anyone sexuall for two years, now, I've been with my girlfriend for a year. One person in three years. Second of all, I started taking ampicillin on the 17th, and stopped on the 24, and started taking penicillin.Okay, so earlier this week I noticed these tiny tiny red dots on the head of my penis. I'm not circumsized for antyhing, so I wouldn't have noticed had I not been looking. Nevertheless, I noticed. Now, a few days lateer, I'm using the restroom and the head of my penis has more. So I look around online and find that it could be blocked pores. Thing is, the head of my penis seems to be so much dryer now. Harder to move the skin. When having sex with my girlfriend, I can feel a different. It's harder to move in and out of her. But like I said, I was pretty sure it was just that blocked pores stuff, so I've been cleaning it more than usually, but I was just not brushing my teeth and under my tongue, not on the tongue per se, but under it on that little piece of flesh or skin that connects the bottom of the tongue to the bottom of the mouth, right there I noticed these two little red dots.So now I'm freaking out as to what the hell could be going on, because it just doesn't seem likely that I'd have some sort of STD, but, jeez I don't know that much about this sort of thing.Could it be a reation to my meds that I'm taking (for a root canal I had)?...or what? What could this be?Thanks for any help guys, I'm a wreck.

I'm really becoming scared. Help, please.

Antibiotics can cause yeast infections in women. Reasonable to assume the same effect can occur with males. The red dots on teh glans sound like a possible yeast infection. Female yeast infection cremes can take care of that realy quick.

What about those little red dots under the tongue?I mean, is it safe to assume I have nothing to really be afraid of? That's really what I need to hear. All my so called friends have been telling me I have some STD and it's starting to freak me out.

I'm not sure. You can have yeast in the mouth too, but to be safe you should see your doctor while you still have symptoms.

Does it sound like it could be anything I should be worried about though? I mean I know for a fact my girlfriend is clean, and I was single and non sexual for two years, and I've been with her for a year and a half, and just now out of the blue while taking meds this shows up.Do you think I'm just making myself nervous?

It's unlikely to be an STD, but it's worth finding out what it is and if it needs treatment.

I've been looking into it...I think I have penile thrush.
