I noticed about 4 or 5 red spots on the rim of my penis about a year ago. they are virtually invisible at times, but are very noticable at other times. they are most noticable after sex or masturbation or following an erection. they never go away they just become VERY hard to see at times. following these I noticed a single bump on the rim as well. its in the excact spot i always touch when aiming during urination. it looks like a wart, but theres only one and like the red spots it goes away sometimes during the day but after sex or masturbation it becomes noticable again. anyone have an idea what these things could be? they don't hurt at all.

Bumps....

also, my head area seems dry all the time and im starting to think that may have caused this, but im not sure

I'm not the penis pro..do some reading in the male genetalia threads, sounds like some of the normal stuff I have read there. Ughh, I shouldn't post so early, I can't remember things. Anyway, if your REALLY worried about it, the best thing to do is see the doc.

anyone there?

Bumps on the rim could be Pearly Penile Papules, which are harmless. Red spots that aren't bumps are probably just small areas that happen to have more blood vessels, and aren't anything at all.

It is likely they are papules, unless you shave or use some type of lotion on your penis, in which case, it could be folliculitis. It's possible they could be warts, too. I once knew a guy who had similar bumps, but I don't think he ever got them checked out- but I thought they were warts. You really should have your doctor look at them...
