Baseball

We don't exactly have baseball in the UK, we have something called rounders, basically the same thing but girls play it but with a smaller bat.All the excersise you need is lifting your arms up and down whilst reaching for the lipstick/mascara/face powder.Or if you wanna be a man play rugby ( american football without the pussypads). Again a fine example of how poncie you lot are
-
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is getting a little sick of your anti-american bullshit
-
Americans play rugby too. I'm also getting tired of your anti-american bs.

ROTF LMFAO!!!
it's true though! :sunglasses:
-
So you agree that americans are "poncie" because football players wear pads?
-
personally I think it's a wimps way to play the game
-
I don't play football, and neither do most americans
-
you talking about football football or soccer?
-
It doesn't matter
-
So if you think it is a wimpy way to play. PLAY! I played for four years. It is rough. Broke both hands, sslipped a disc in my back, dislocated both shoulders, 6 concusions. The pads make it so you do not die each play.
-
In the pigskin football not soccer.
-
I used to play football also. It is an extremely rough sport. I agree with Walken when he says it keeps people from dying each play. Being a lineman, I know what it's like to get hit hard and to deliver a hit hard. I feel sorry for the special teams guys though. All I have to say is Ouch!
-
so you would have been dead over here a long time ago... play hard... fight hard
-
BACK ON TOPIC PLEASE...
-
one last thing.Websexinfo:I am a lineman as well (best place on field to play), but I also played on every side of the ball. Offense/defense/all special teams (except onside kickoff/return). It builds a trust with the people around you. You know they would lay themselves on the line to protect you and the same the other way around.
-
ok... mental note taken. lolUh, ok, baseball. I used to play baseball when I was little. Keep your eye on the ball, hold your elbows high, and hit the thing as hard as you can... My nickname was slugger then. haha.
-
back o the subject:You need to control yourself. If you want to eat, eat some fruit. try not to pig out or eat snacks. Run and do a combo of free weights and machines. It will take time but you will lose weight.

Grrrrr to any and all jerks who think that football is not a hard and dangerous sport to play. I've played both rugby and football (yes, Max with the pussypads as I believe you called it). And just so there is no confusion, I AM a GIRL. I just happen to be a tomboy who likes to play with the boys. I have a lot of respect for those football players that go out there every day and work there asses off in full padding in 113 degree heat in the dead of summer. Bring your tail end over here and let's see how long you last against me and my bro. You'd probably pass out from heat exhaustion. Why the hell do you have such a problem with Americans anyway? I haven't done shit to you and the last I checked none of the people on this board have either.Diver - I'm very disppointed in you...of all people. Not cool. FaBMX - You wanna lose weight for baseball season start running. I'm thinking loooong distance running. And start your wind sprints early by running bases. Taking your lead offs and practicing like you're stealing bases, etc. Start throwing a ball too and get your arm in shape so you're not sore when everyone else is complaining about their arms hurting. It wouldn't hurt to do a couple of lower body exercises (when you swing the bat you should be using your hips as a driving force to give yourself more power) with some upper body too. You don't wanna bulk up on a ton of muscle though because from the time you hit the ball it should take you approximately 2.5 seconds to reach first base for softball and about 3.4 for baseball. Either way you look at it that's not a lot of time to get to the base but a lot of people are way over that alotted time. If you play in college however they will be real sticklers at wanting you to get to the base in that amount of time. The main thing you should work on is stamina and cardio will do just that for you. And don't forget your BREATHING while you're running or doing sprints.

Me aint diver aint anti-american, its just part of british humor, we like taking the piss outta americans. Its nothing personal its just the fact that America is very much sheilded from the rest of the world but thinks its better than everyone else when it isn't actually good at anything at all. Oh, and your 'leader' is the most stupid twat in the world.
