The male attraction to breasts.
-
In reply to: The purple one with the inverted triangle on his head and the handbag. ah that would be Tinky Winky then grin
-
I will NEVER be able to watch that show again, thanks for that sdp laffin Can you imagine what our children are going to be when they grow up, having seen shows like this and teletubbies when growing up!!!!!!
-
I'm glad my kids are beyond that age. They didn't have this crap to watch when they were small.
-
In the U.S., Jerry Falwell (a right-wing preacher-politico) accused Tinky Winky of being gay, and thus a bad influence on the children. This was a few years before another such cretin accused SpongeBob Squarepants of being gay. I think there was some question about his relationship with Patrick, his starfish friend. I wonder why no one had an issue with a crab having a whale as a daugter. Perhaps she was adopted. And no one ever speaks of her mother. But no character in any of these shows has breasts. A squirrel from Texas in a diving suit is the closest thing to a woman.
-
How come nobody ever noticed how Barneys yellow friend was called BJ?And also, what kinda fucked up world do we live in when people are "accused" of being gay, like its a crime! OK, Steve, before you make a comment, I know that in some places it is actually illegal, but lets not bring that up.
-
Ah, so YOU noticed that his yellow friend was called BJ, now hon what the HELL were you doing watching barnie in the first place so intently to notice that shakes head and walks away muttering
-
this is y i hate MOST cartoons. there r still a few cool-ass cartoons left
-
Well, I am quite a loser and while on Summer holidays I entertain myself by watching pointless children tv... love is great! Love for children...
-
Hiya! I'm a fundy (or however you say it!) but I wasn't offended by your post. I may not agree with it, but that doesn't mean I can't handle reading it. Way back someone said that an ample bosom indicates more nutrition. This is wrong, seeing how all breasts contain the same amount of milk ducts. Therefore, larger breasts do not contain more milk. The fat/breast tissue is what makes large ones more flabby.

opposites attrack..enough said...we didnt evolve from ape!
-
Your guys are extremly off topic! :open_mouth:
-
we didnt evolve from ape!You didn't heed my fundie warning. You may have been delivered from another planet, be the rest of use evolved from ancestors from which modern apes also evolved. But that's besides the point. Human evolution dictated a lot of our instinctive behavior. In this context, I'm not sure what you mean by opposite attact. Do you mean that a guy with a small head would be attracted to a women with a big head?
-

..im not sure if that was suppsot to be an insult or not..but no, thats not wut i meant. i meant that guys dont really have boos so we are attracked to girls cuz they do. we dont have the same kind of ass as they do normally so we are attracked to it. they have adifferent face structure than we do. so we are attracked to that. they have a didnt figure than we do, so we are attracked to that. thats wut i meant by opposites attrack.
-
Ohhhh.. That makes sense.
-
No, it wasn't an insult; just my usual arrogant phrasing. What I'm trying to say is that you're saying not that opposite things attract, but that different things attract. But it's not that simple. You can do an experiment and show that people are attracted to certain specific things in the opposite sex; for instance, it's not just that a woman's waist is a different size than yours, but that there's a certain relationship between hip and waist size that men find attractive. That example seems to be unversal (the same in different cultures).Whether or not you have symmetrical features, you will probably be more attracted to someone who has symmetrical features than to someone who doesn't.This is important if you're trying to meet a mate in a bar or start a career in modeling. Otherwise it's not that important.
-
Your explanation is good, Steve. I do not agree with your evolutionary opinion (After all, it is still a theory) but you do make the most sense so far. Opposites do not necessarily attract. Anyway, it is more of a modern Western society that is obsessed with breasts. Many other cultures do not understand out obession. Though the waist to hip ratio determining attractiveness is universal throughout pretty much all civilizations. Okay, that's my two cents worth.
-
Don't hate me. Hating won't make you pretty!I don't hate you and I'm not pretty. But thanks for the thoughtful reply.
-
LOL Sorry Steve! That is just my signature. I did not intend it for you.
-
breasts are just nice to look at, and a weapon in womens hands it seems, (metaphor) plus they're firm and brill to hold (i guess)
