I seriously just wanna know. Do you think make up makes a person's complexion completely different or if you're that "look" you would stay that look...? I'm just curious because if it doesn't really enhance my features I don't think I wanna waste money on cosmetics. Or is natural beauty the best? I just want honest opinions.

Make Up

i dont wear make up, and honestly its a waste of money. you dont have to worry about waking up and stabbing your eye with a mascara wand, or anything. its also a waste of time. and worthless.
-
I think your numerous posts have answered your question!
-
lol. Thanks? Well I really just wanna know. Because one of my gay friend thinks that make up makes the girl 10% better(he has this weird point system) I believe he's just bsing. He thinks the make up hides the "pores, scars, indents...etc." You think if a girl took off her make up it would change your mind about her beauty?

oh thanks sex pot.

Well I don't wear foundation...but I wear like eyeliner and a bit of lipstick. Would that affect me at all? My mom says the eyeliner would build up in my tear duct and it would affect the moistness....is that true?
-
Hi all, kinda new here. I don't use makeup. I think its kind of unnecessary, but my mom has always been a big advocate of makeup and thinks I'm crazy to not want to use it. but, how exactly would foundation damage your skin? I just assumed it would clog pores or something. just a guess .Oh, and in response to the original question, I think enough makeup does make one's complexion look really different. It usually looks artificial though (to me, at least)

I wear makeup. I don't look like a different person without it either. Used right...it can really enhance your features. I don't see anything wrong with wearing it.
-
I agree with Amanda, when done correctly, makeup can do wonders for your skin. I only wear lipgloss on a daily basis, sometimes mascara. I use concealer to cover up the occasional breakouts too. I really dont see anything wrong with it.
-
I'm not a fan of make up - maybe just a little (lipstick for example) but not much at all. I do prefer the natural look, but on occasions a small amount of make up to give an elegant look can be nice.Packing chemicals onto your face every day is not healthy.
-
On a daily basis, i don't wear anything more than eyeliner, mascara and lipstick, for special occasions I put foundation on, and do the whole thing, but very rarely, and even if you did wear make up every day as long as you don't cake it on, and cleanse at night, whats the worry!

Make-up can make a person look alot better. Of course natural beauty is always best and one should always use make-up in moderation. There is nothing worse than a girl/woman who cakes on the cosmetics..(like Tammy Faye Baker.. she's on the extreme side). However, make-up can do wonders but if you rely on it then you can shock people when you don't have any on.
-
I love make-up, but I could live without it. I think it can enhance some people's naturally beautiful features, but over doing it and caking the make-up on just looks ignorant. My sister-in-law is a really beautiful person with out make-up but she puts way to much on and it looks like if she smiles too big it'll crake and fall off lol A little make-up is good, but too much just makes you look really bad.

i look better without it

A bit of makeup can enhance or accentuate natural features. I hate to see a woman wearing pancake batter on her face though. Also, i like to touch the face of someone I'm intemate with, makeup can get in the way of that.

Sorry I didnt read everyones response. Make up is BS created by society. I know I know, I'm not a girl and I dont know what its like (life is SO tough). But I DO know that make up made in the US has been banned from the E.U. and we STILL apply the mask. Oh well, cant change a people.
-
Why is it banned?
-
makeup dates back to the dawn of civilisation for both men and women. Kind of hard to dismiss that as BS, don't you think?
-
They claim its because it contains cancer causing agents, but thats bs. L'oreal and revlon have changed their ingredients to meet new EU standards though.

Phthalates, which help cosmetics adhere without smudging, are the substances in question. In the old days, comsetics containing lead-based pigments and other noxious things caused problems.
