Its the first time Im here. Have searched this board and found different feedback on the issue Im having.I just turned 21, and am a virgin. Its not like something is "wrong" just that only recently found the person Id go far with. However, because of real bad feedback during my life (and schools do suck in sex ed) I really had no idea that foreskin needs to retract so. Im uncut. My foreskin just doesnt retract. When erect, the diameter is 2cm mut needs at least another cm I think to retract. Thanks to these boards Ive found different techniques and such with stretching, but really no one has given a detailed instructions which would be best to use. What Ive done past three weeks has been retracting my foreskin as much as possible, then grabbing the tight part of the foreskin with my fingers and then stretching strong (but not too strong, aka havent ripped anything).Im really confused here and require some help. I think this technique has worked somewhat but there are moments when Im not really sure.So if anyone has good stretching techniques to lay out, please do so, I really need help.Thank you

Confused and need detailed help with foreskin :(

i don't mean to be rude, but where were your parents on all this...?
You think that they would have informed you that it needs to be pulled back...

It would be great if all parents taught us uncut guys about how to take care of and work with our penises...but most of them don't. I had to figure all of this out on my own, now I'm glad to come here and help other guys with the same questions or concerns that I had. Fortunately though my foreskin wasn't as tight as some.

Hey Ralph_aello...welcome to our little cyber world! There are some very specific instructions and tips on stretching in the "read this first" anatomy thread. I'll be glad to help you with more tips or help if you can't find them or don't understand what we're suggesting. Feel free to ask any questions or get any feedback from us about this. Main thing I'd suggest is that you work with that foreskin consistently and be patient!

I am over 50. My foreskin doesnt retract all the way over the helmet when i am erect, it hasnt given me all the problems that I read abou others having...Just dont force it. DC

Ralph ... Just for perspective ... While you aren't yet retractable, the opening of your foreskin, which you estimate at a diameter of 2cm, is much larger than that experienced by many young men when they begin "stretching". Therefore, you are somewhat ahead of the game, despite being unretractable.Instead of retracting your foreskin during your exercises, try pulling your foreskin out, away from your body. Insert a finger or two, and stretch firmly but gently, as though you were trying to open a pillow case. Hold the stretch for up to five minutes if you can. Then repeat the same exercise several times a day. A photograph which illustrates a similar 'stretch', is shown here: http://www.foreskin.org/46-33-03.jpgBy pulling the foreskin forward of the glans, you prevent the possibility of strangling your penis, should you happen to become erect during stretching and find that the foreskin will not move forward, over the glans. Should this occur, force blood from the glans by pushing down on your glans with your thumbs, while pulling the foreskin firmly forward with your fingers. As your frenum, like your foreskin, has not been "used" during your adolescence, you may find it a bit stiff and unresponsive. Thus, you may find frenum stretching exercises beneficial, too. Simply grasp the foreskin beneath your penis and pull out, firmly but gently, and hold the stretch, as before. A photograph illustrating the procedure is shown here: http://www.foreskin.org/46-33-04.jpgPlease understand that by "stretching" you are actually encouraging the formation of new skin cells. Obviously this takes time, so be patient.Korydon

Thanks for the suggestions given. Took a while to get used to grabbing foreskin the way shown on the picture, but once I got a hang of it and it didnt felt uncomfortable all the time, it got better.Doing this once a day for ten minutes. Its really helped, the tight ring is about 3cm now (not sure, havent measured but I think it is somewhere there, when erect the full length is 16 or so, so Im guessing it must be about 3cm or a bit more), and when erect I can pull the foreskin all the way back if I want to. But wont do so before Im absolutely sure it can go back as easily. So will probably stretch another week or so before going for that. And yes, it amazes me but the foreskin stretching can work miracles if done properly and constantly for ten minutes or so a day.I think the hardest thing was really the beginning, when it felt uncomfortable to do the stretching because not being used to it. But when I saw some improvement it became easier. Thanks to everybody here, its weight off my shoulders now. Im happy it indeed works.

Wow, 1 cm in two weeks! That's impressive. You must be elated with your progress. An acquaintance in Norway spent an entire year stretching before his foreskin became capable of normal movement during intercourse, but he feels that the results are well worth the time and effort. Remember never to use soaps when washing beneath your foreskin ... and to rinse completely after a bath or shower. Soaps tend to kill the protective bacteria which reside beneath the foreskin ... opening up the area to infections, which, if allowed to develop, can make the foreskin seriously unretractable.Keep On Tuggin!Korydon

Personally I dont consider two weeks as a miracle or anything, since what Ive gathered on the internet the average period is 2-4 weeks when done right. It still requires another week or two I think to be fully "loose".
And as someone said, I did have a "head start" as it was about 2cm in the beginning. Dont know about that Norwegian guy of course.

lol ... Love your "head start". But where on the internet did you read that 2-4 weeks would be sufficient, "when done right"? The Russian/Norwegian fellow had only a pinhole opening when he began stretching. His was a labour of love. Fortunately Norsk "pike" were there to help.Rood

You can find all sorts of info when you search google for alternative treatments for Phimosis (the actual name of "tight foreskin condition" or so).Ill quote some that I have saved:"Stretching a tight foreskinThe vast majority of tight foreskins can be suitably loosened within a month or so by careful stretching twice daily. Use baby oil, Vaseline intensive care hand and body lotion, Nivea or any bland cream as a lubricant. Pull the foreskin forward away from the body several times then pull it back as far as it will comfortably go and hold it in this stretched position for several minutes. When the gap becomes large enough insert your thumb, or smaller finger if necessary, into the foreskin and grip the glans (the head of the penis) between finger and thumb. Roll the foreskin over the thumb until the tight ring is white with stretching. Hold it in this position as long as you can at a time - say 5 minutes. Repeat as often as you have the time and enthusiasm for. If later you find there is room for two or more fingers then use them. It may also help if you soak your penis in warm water for some minutes before you start to stretch.""Case reportThe patient was a 22 year old man in a Royal New Zealand Navy cruiser during World War II. He complained of penile pain and discharge and wondered if he had accidentally contracted venereal disease, but in fact he had not been exposed to this risk. Examination showed that his problem was one of phimosis with recurrent balanitis. The diameter of the orifice in the prepuce was only about 0.5 cm. As we were at sea, frequently in action against the Japanese, and because at that time no one was able to get ashore for 3 months on end, there was no possibility of performing any non-urgent operation. As an alternative management was therefore tried, based on the observation that the plastic capability of skin is unlimited. This has been demonstrated by the lower lip deformity gradually introduced by some primitive tribes, and also by the ear lobe elongation produced by heavy earrings. The patient reported to the Sick Bay daily and for 2-3 min. the preputial orifice was put on stretch with a small artery forceps. This was a painful procedure but not unbearable. For a week no obvious improvement was noted but then the resistance at the margin of the orifice was suddenly overcome and by the end of the second week its diameter had increased to about 2.5 cm. For the first time the prepuce was able to be retracted. With daily washing the balanitis soon cleared up. When the patient was followed up 6 months later, the anatomy appeared to be quite normal and there was no recurrence of phimosis or balanitis. The orifice was so slack that there was no risk of paraphimosis."You can find loads of more info on treatment and such when checking out some google queries
