-
Just have a ? for smokers
-
That's becasue smoke kills the cillia in your lungs and brochial tubes. The mucous doesn't get swept away. That's why you have the cough and phlegm. You would be best advised to quit now or you will get seriously hooked.
-
could i already have cancer?
-
The chances of you having cancer now are slim, but quit before you have to worry about it or before your too old to quit. Trust me, its for the best. You get NOTHING out of cigarettes.
-
Cancer doesn't happen overnight. It takes a while for cancer to develop from damage casued by smoking.

Smoking is evil. I still smoke and I am trying so hard to give it up but not succeeding at all. Please try and stop while you are young, I am 30 and I feel like I have flem at the back of my throat yes and i know it is soo bad for me but I am addicted which is no excuse and once I get through my troubles I shall try again but please try and give up. Do it for mE!!

No dude ive been smokeing for a year as well im 14 and i feel fine and i have alergies. I ussially smoke a bout 10 a day so i dont see any sign of cancer but i too get that croup in my throught. so how many do you smoke a day and whts the brand lights, meds, reds?
-
I used to smoke but only like a ciggarette or two a day, mostly I just liked to smoke while driving because I got less pissed off in traffic.I quit in March or something, don't remmeber. Anyways now I have an incredibly sore throat when I wake up and shitloads of yellow, brownish chucks of mucus in my throat. This just started like a couple of weeks ago, I scrub the back of my throat with a toothbrush and swish listerine for 10 minute to make it less disgusting but it still keeps happening every day.

It sounds like you have a throat infection, white_lines. It's nothing to do with smoking. It might be strep throat, which clears up well with antibiotics, if you can get to a doctor.
-
nah i dont have health insurance and my parents wont pay for anything
-
It really sounds like you have some sort of infection. It doesn't seem to be getting better on its own. It could get a lot worse. If there's no clinic in your area that you could go to, then you need to get yourself to an emergency room and have someone look at your throat.
-
if i wait long enough will i need painkillers?
-
No, so don't delay in the hope that you'll get them.
-
If you wait long enough you might wind up in the hospital, insurance or not. And if you really wait long enough you might wind up at the undertaker's.Or if you have a simple infection, you can get some antibiotics and you'll be better within a week or two.
