I think a lot of people confuse love with excitement. When we first meet someone who we are quite fond of it's easy to feel excited and happy (you lie awake at night, can't wait to see them, get nervous when you call them etc etc) but i don't believe this is love. This is the kind of shit (refurred to as love) that we hear being sung about in the top 40 (i want you and your beautiful soul?? whatever, summerland dude)I think love is something more than this - not something which just suddenly dawns on you one day. I think it takes time, and it's hard to know exactly when you are in love and when you aren't. I believe that love is simply accepting someone for everything they are, and letting go of anything that may worry you about them (trusting them, forgetting about it when they do something to piss you off) This may sound really really gay too, but i think you literally feel it in your heart when you love someone. Anyone ever been in love, or think they're in love?

I agree with you 100%. See the problem is there arent enough words out there to describe when you like someone so you say you love them, its odd to say "ok goodnight baby, like you" lol. Another thing like you said is they confuse love with lust. You might be physically crazy about someone and like their personality so you lust them not love them. Another thing i found is that there are definetely many types of love. Theres the love for your family, for your friends, and significant other. So you cant love someone your dating like you love your mom, at least thats my opinion. Love is definetely somethin that takes time, so when these people date for a couple months and then love someone i think its ridiculous. Another thing is everyone wants to be loved, so it just feels good to hear it, even if it truly isnt love. Love is somethin that you just know one day and you feel it deep inside, its somethin you cant describe and cant put a definition on. Its a great thing and one day itll just be there and its the greatest feeling ever, or at least i know it will be
