I didn't know where to put this so I put it here Anyway, recently this week, I've been sleeping very very late into the day, like around 3:00 PM. I set my alarm for about 9:00 AM but I just get up turn my alarm off, and go back to sleep. The past week I've been going to sleep at 1:00 AM.Anyway, yesterday I tried going to sleep at 10:00 PM, and I did the same thing, getting up and turning the alarm off etc etc.During the school year (it's just about to end ) I went to sleep at about 2:30 and got up at 8:00.Problem is, I don't have too much time to sleep, as I need to study for my exams, so sleep will be sparse. Around 3 hours a night.I'm 19, and I know they always say you need 8 hours of sleep. And kids in college "catch up" with sleep on weekends. However, I never really slept any longer on the weekends, maybe 1 hour more. Can sleep catch up to you 2 months later?Just wondering if I need to do something about it, or if I'm just getting lazy.-Thanks

Sleep catching up to me?

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.....I tend to sleep more on the weekend, when i don't have to get the kids up for school n stuff, tho i did see a programme on TV that this kinda 'batch sleeping' is bad for ya LOL Ah well i won't let a TV programme ruin my long mornings in bed let me tell ya I think if this exessive sleep pattern goes on for too long, I would worry, or try to break it - you need to put your alarm at the other side of the room, so you have to actually get out of bed to turn it off
