What are the most common reasons for condoms to break? What other ways do they fail?
-
Condoms breaking
-
Some reasons for breakage are:
Condom past use-by date
Condom stored in warm place, like wallet or car
Condom used a second time
Condom too small
Condom used over another condom
Oily lube used, such as vaseline (petroleum jelly) or vegetable oil -
Please don't double post.
-
How effective are condoms if all of the above is followed correctly?
-
They're very effective if they are used carefully. The main way they can fail, apart from breaking, is if you go soft before pulling out, and because you're smaller then they come off and stay inside. That can happen fairly easily.

Do you have some advice on which brands are real good and which not to use?
-
What if the condom is not too snug when you are fully erect?
-
It's important that condoms fit well. It's not the length of the penis that matters, but the girth. If a regular condom isn't snug, you need the slightly narrower ones. They have names including words like "slim" or "better fit". Using a condom that is too wide is certainly dangerous, as it may leak or come off.

Well, you could get an aunt to go with you and pose as your mother. i have also read that starting the pill right afterr unprothected sex can prevent pregnacy. And remeber you only have 5 days to get the mornig after pill for it to be effective, but the sooner the better. Go to plannedparenthood.com or call 1-800-not-2-late.
