Ok i have these bumps on my balls, they sometimes are on my penis as well. They are usally just little things, nothing gross or freaky. I can't remember if ive had them all my life or not, and they don't appear to be any real color. As well i don't itch or anything. The bumps are mainly on my balls, but every once and a while ill see some on my shaft.Ive had un protected sex twice, one of them is with my current gf. Her and i never use protection now, the other is with my neighbor i had sex with... If i got it from anyone id think it would be the neighbor. As well if you have an idea of what it may be (if anything) how or what is the procedure to get tested?-Dan

Wondering if this may be a STD?

OK "bumps" are really nondescript. You need to give more info.

If they are really small, they may be sebaceous glands. This picture shows them on a penis shaft, but they can be visible on balls as well. They are normal.

What are those type of things? That looks like what i have, very few ever on my shaft usually just covering my balls...Are they an std? or just some random thing that doesn't mean shit?-Dan

You actually have sebaceous glands all over your body. They secrete sebum, which is a white oily gunk that acts as a natural moisturiser, keeping the skin from getting too dry. They are mainly buried well below the surface of the skin and secrete usually into hair follicles, but you can have them without hair too. They get bigger and more active at puberty as a response to hormone changes, and because of that they become more easily infected by bacteria - zits are infected sebaceous glands.Although you have them all over your body, you don't usually see them. On the genitalia, however, the skin is thinner, and they can be visible, especially after puberty when they get bigger. So they are not a disease, and not something to worry about.
