My friends ae convinced I have an eating disorder. I have bad eating habits, but not an eating disorder. I tried throwing up and not eating when I was 14 (20 now), but I only did that for a couple of weeks until I started hearing voices in my head. So I stopped becuz that was crazy. But I try not to eat too much and I hate feeling full, but I think thats normal. I drink a lot of soda and I eat a lot of fast food. Yeah, I use to be fat and I dont ever want to be fat again. But my friend went over the line and said that if I were ever to get pregnant, I would be so worried about gaining weight and try to starve myself and my baby!! I wanted to smack her! I love babies and how dare any one tell me how'll I'll be when I'm pregnant. I am so mad right now. What do you guys think?

Thats really messed up what your friend said. Just get all your friends together who think that and tell them right to there face you dont, and if that doesnt work put on some weight(like 6-8 lbs) just to show them

And you're not gaining weight? Either your thyroid is cranking and keeping you thin, or you eat a moderate amount of fast food and soda. If you don't consume much else, you have a pretty unbalanced diet. Please rent the movie Supersize Me.

It's high in fat, salt, sugar, and other bad stuff...it's no way to get trained for a lifetime of eating. Why do you think so many kids are overweight and getting type 2 ("adult"-onset) diabetes?

I watched a programme on discovery the other week about a guy who did an experiment by just eating nothing but Mcdonalds for a month.........the deterioration in his health after the first week or so shocked me, it wasn't that he just put on lots of wieght, but that his liver started to fail, his blood pressure shot up, he got breathless all the time, depressed, lost his sex drive etc etc........I don't think he made it to the end of the month, I think doctors said he would be in hospital if he did!!

I eat fast food several times a week... and I'm not fat or anything. I "exercise" regularly... it may also be because I have a good metabolism but still...And I know what diabetes is... I'm a Type 1 diabetic Edit: And kids get fat because their fucking lazy... I'm lazy too but not when it comes to exercising and all that

I'm as lazy as they come. I do not work out or exercise. And I think I have a pretty healthy body image. I'm 5'5" and weigh 138 right now. I really don't need to lose any more weigh. But I'm just sick and tired of have to defend myself or watch what I put in my mouth because these people are "concerned" with my eating habits. I like being 138 lbs personally, but I can't eat three meals a day. It makes me feel heavy.

Didn't you say somewhere that you are diabetic? If not, sorry, I had a brain fart. If so, then you really need to keep an eye on your diet to keep your blood sugar level as steady as possible. lol don't tell me how to regulate my blood sugar, I'm doing a fine job of that myself, thank you, even with eating fast food several times a week (woah, amazing I know, doctors didn't say that was possible so it must not be possible)
