Like the title says: I'm always hungry. No matter how much I eat, I'm still hungry. Sometimes I'm hungrier after I eat than before I ate. Everyday I eat 6-10 big bowls of cereal (.5-.75 of a cereal box) and I'm still hungry; the only reason I stop is because I have to get to school. Is there any way for me to not be hungry all the time (especially after I eat)?

Well, I can't help it. If I don't eat enough, I get a stomach ache and get really sick, which sometimes ends in me throwing up.

Eat something like eggs and sausage and gravy you know eat alot but its a hell of alot healther then ceral if you dont eat it everyday bisquits and gravy not sausage and gravy

How old are you? Are you active? Are you overweight? Are you under any stress? Have you always ate like this? If not, about when did you first notice that you were becoming hungry and like this? What else, if anything, do you eat during and throughout the day? Have you been hit in the stomach, kidney, or intestinal region? I know this may not be a question you want to answer, but do you know when you last urinated or had a bowel movement? I know that some of these may be a little personal but I actually need the answers before I can tell you whether or not this may or may not be normal. And even still, I recommend seeing a licensed physician so he can run tests etc., to see exactly what's going on. I cannot give you an exact medical diagnosis. I'm not a doctor just a student nurse. Where is whiteboy_com when I need him?

To answer your questions in order: I'm 15, somewhat active, not overweight, not too stressed out, I don't think I've always eaten like this, I started being hungry like this about a year ago, I eat some chicken tenders and mashed potatos at lunch and whatever at dinner, I haven't been hit in the intestinal region, I urinate and have a bowel movement every day (including just this morning). And I already eat a couple of eggs in the morning with my cereal.

It sounds like your thyroid might be on the fritz (hyperthyroid). Do you have any symptoms like these?

I think I have to agree Steve, esp if he's experience any of those other symptoms. I should also say it could very well be puberty (he could very well be a late bloomer). But since he said he noticed about a year ago that would mean he was about fourteen. That's about the time hormones start going crazy and boys start to consume anything they come across in the refrigerator (believe me...I have teenage boys in my house all the time...they're always in the fridge).My brother ate like that when he was about 13-14. He was eating everything. And eating Jethro bowls of cereal (we're talking a massive bowl). He could polish off a box of cereal on his own. Our doctor chalked it up to the hormones of puberty. He ate like that up until recently. He's now 18.Still, Bob, I would go ahead and go to your doctor. Only he/she can tell you for sure.

I didnt mean everyday, and i would think its better then lucky charms if you dont eat it everyday. And more filling

I agree, Steve. Cereal is actually a lot more healthy than fatty foods, if it's not the sugary stuff.

Even lucky charms is fortified with fiber, minerals and vitamins that your body needs to survive. Moderation is key.

There's far healthier cereals tham lucky charms out there. You just need to find the ones that still taste good. Optimum Power, the one I eat, is quite healthy and it tastes great (not as full of sugar as lucky charms, but I don't like that anyway).

I eat a good cereal (Kellogg's Smart Start Healthy Heart). And I wasn't a late bloomer, but maybe it is just puberty.

Do not just take our word for it. Only a doctor is going to be able to tell you for sure what the deal is. Like I said though, if you're not experiencing any of those other symptoms listed by Steve it could very well just be puberty HOWEVER, better safe than sorry.
