hi i am 15 and on my shaft i have bumps all over, is that ok? and just wondering does shaving make your dick look biger or smaller?
-
Need help?!?! dont know if this is good or bad.

Im 14, and have had bumps on my penis for years. If it feels like grains of sand inside the bumps, there probably what Ive got, fordyce spots. There harmless so dont worry, but slightly irritating. Quite a lot of guys have them. I think there caused by some-glands-or-another, I think theres a thread for them somewhere. Dont worry. Whatever you do, dont try and squeeze the "grains" inside out! Very painful and will get you nowhere! As for shaving, It does make your dick look bigger and feels great being all smooth. However, it does get bristly again within a couple of days, and if you want to grow them back completly, the first 2 weeks will probably be unbearable because the growing hairs curl inwards. Golden Rule! Always use shaving foam! Get a some good quality disposable razors or youll probably cut yourself badly and you dont want to walk around with a load of little bits of tissue stuck down there. Hope that helps

thnx, thats some good as advice manthnx 4 it

(Possibly Pointless Post)Thats what Im here for.. Fordyce spots should be on the shaft or around the rim. If you have anything different, check it out.
-
Have a look at this picture. That shows sebaceous glands on the shaft, which are perfectly normal.
-
Thats exactly what I got. I heard on some site or another that you cant get rid of them without drugs which can damage your skin really bad, and you have to keep taking them afterwards anyway.. accutane or somthing like that?
-
There's really no need to worry about them bud, chances are no one will even notice accept you...and if they do simply explain them and move on. Most of us have them to some degree...consider them "extra ribbing" and don't worry about trying to remove them.

Im not worried at all. Id rather have some harmless lumps on my nob which are impersonated by those bobbly comdoms you can buy than permanently have whats like bad sunburn on my dick caused by drugs. Or was that aimed at Mr.Cloud?
-
If they aren't painful or something to be worried about, I think it is fine.
-
My bad, I thought you may have been worried about them. OOPS
-
OK..... i've been worried about this for years and just didn't want to ask fearing some girl just didn't tell me something important...
i have the bumps on my shaft as well as my scrotum...
feels exactly like what you have described... tiny grains of sand, but they're everywhere and i used to be able to pop them out...
but i got tired of hurting myself trying.i was just going to clear it up that they can be on both the shaft and the scrotum, correct?
thanks so much, my self esteem just skyrocketed.

??? huh? something about trying to clear up sebaceous glands? they don't clear up...umm...what? hehe yeah sEb, not sUb...my bad
-
Yes, sebaceous glands can be visible on both shaft and scrotum. All perfectly normal.
-
ohhhh....
you don't know how much better i feel....
i've done 2 hours of research i've been avoiding for 3 years tonight...scared of the answer i might find...
and i'm perfectly normal....
the hunt is on. :sunglasses:
thank you so much! -
i got em 2:P
-
Hey bud, welcome! Glad you found what you were looking for here and learned that those are normal...we've all got them to some degree!
-
I've actually been experimenting trying to even out the skin tone on my dick and came across something that does that and somewhat reduces these things. Two words: facial toner. Yup, just get some and put it on after your shower and you'll have a better looking dick in no time. The skin will be be softer, the bumps gone, and really smooth skin.

@Goat. Accutane is used for the treatment of sevre acne... Don't think it'd get rid of them...
-
I think I read somwhere it did. And after to keep them down you needed regular treatments of Tretonin or somthing? I wouldnt bother if anybodys considering trying to use drugs to get rid of them-who knows what the side effects might be? EDIT: Tretinoin Gel or cream is the treatment. Accutane, then regular tretinoin treatments. http://www.skinsite.com/info_sebaceous_hyperplasia.htm
