How do you get around parental controls?

Use google images, and just use the images that pop up in results.

Ok, Tell your parents to stop using AOL. They are Fascists. If you have email from organisations AOL doesnt like, even if you signed up to their newsletter, AOL will block it without even telling you or asking you if its okay, parental controls or not, its an automatic part of their Internet Sevice. Say, I was 30, used AOL, didnt set any of their controls to "ON" and registered for a communist party newsletter. If AOL no like, poof, no newsletter, I never know its even them blocking it. DONT use AOL. "Making the net safer" is bollocks. One day it will probably be used for political censorship. Google results are good and that generally works. The best idea is to try and get your parents password.. or, if your feeling sneaky, have a snoop round your parents bedroom. You might find somthing of use..

well if you have parental controls on AOL, your must not be old enough to look at porn. But im just gonna tell you AOL tracks stuff pretty dang good. After you go to a website, go to about 25 other pages that will clear your history.

I've never used AOL so I'm not sure about how it works. Does it block stuff regadless of which browser you are using? I was thinking that it blocked stuff through the AOL browser, if that is what you are using. If you use IE or netscape, mozilla, firefox .. whatever.. does it block content through them also?

In reply to:Does it block stuff regadless of which browser you are using?I don't use AOL either, but according to their web site:Limit access to other software, too.Internet Access Controls help "lock down" your PC to keep kids from surfing with external browsers. So I guess it depends on what his parents have turned on.

I agree to a previous point that was made. If your parents are using parental controls, then they must think you are not old enough or ready to look at porn. If you really want to, google is a good place. You can use the translator to turn (naughty) words into a different language and on the history it will just come up as a foreign word. Thats if you like foreign porn...
