Hi, I'm having it done and I just wonna know if the docs give you anything to stop erections... I mean, I don't fancy getting a hard-on after surgery - no thankyou. I've heard many nasty stories about people getting erections after surgery and bleeding. As you can understand I'm a bit worried about it all. Does anyone know about this?

Circumcision!

They might but you should ask to make sure.

I got circumcised May 6. I talked to the Dr. about a drug to stop erections but he said it was unnecessary that in like a million circumcisions he'd done noone ever had the cut open up. The first night I got woken up by an erection and I was pretty worried but nothing bad happened. The main thing is fear and a boner don't go to together so when I got scared, my dick would go down. That;s why you shouldn't get worried about poppin wood at the surgery.I don't know why you're doing this but don't worry. It is very minor surgery when though it's on a major part of your body. The worst part of the whole thing is not being able to masturbate for a while after.

Liamcny:
The procedure usually known by its euphemism, circumcision, (more properly and accurately, genital mutilation) is NOT surgery. Surgery is the art, practice, or work of treating diseases, injuries, or deformities by manual or operative procedure. Attempts to restore a foreskin lost to those three examples (circumcision is both an injury and a deformity, by the way) may properly be termed "surgery", but never can the excision of the healthy, functional foreskin of an intact man or child ever be dignified by the term.
Such use demeans both surgeons and their profession.
