Okay so the other day I noticed what looked like two small 'warts' side to side about an inch or so above my penis under the pubic hair, now there seem to be a few more small looking 'warts' up towards my belt line and starting to spread it seems.. very irrantant. The thing is I think it is Molluscum Contagiosum, I do not know to much about this but did see a picture with a brief caption, and they look the same with the divit in the center and all... one site said they were common warts another said it's a completely different family from warts. Whatever it is it is annoying. Both sites however say they go away within a year... will an oxydized saltic acid based cream get rid of them, I ordered it already it's for genital warts.. please more info, are they genital warts or not.thanks a lot-SOTD

Warts question.. Molluscum Contagiosum ?
-
If they look like molluscum, then it's different from Genital warts. You really should see your doctor. I don't think treatment is that big of a deal.

I'm really not a big doctor person is thier any over the counter medications I can buy that can cure this up then?thanks

No, I don't think there is. I'll be blunt... Quit being a puss and go to the doctor. It can spread and you can spread it to others.

Found this: In reply to:How is Molluscum Contagiosum Treated? >Most symptoms are self-resolving, but generally lesions are removed. Removal of lesions reduces autoinoculation and transmission to others. >Lesions can be removed surgically and/or treated with a chemical agent such as podophyllin, cantharidin, phenol, silver nitrate, trichloracetic acid or iodine. >Cryotherapy is an alternative method of removal. Would I be unable to use and of those chemicals, I know they should be applied by a doctor, but I know that some of them can also be easily obtained.I also have Sebaceous glands so I cannot tell about some of the bumps on my shaft because the smaller ones look alike. I really would like to go to the doctor, but you don't know my situation and I don't think I would be able to without conflict.
