** Graphic details in the following post.My girlfriend started Seasonale late last year and everything went fine for the first 3 months. Her pills were late on delivery and she had to wait a month before she could start taking it again. Since then, it's been 2 months since she started taking them. We've had unprotected sex maybe a handful of times in that 2 month period, but a lot of protected sex with a condom. (I haven't cummed in her at all during the unprotected sex.) The last time we had unprotected sex was on May 29th. On Weds, June 1st, she started getting heavy dark, browish almost black blood. It continued that way for a couple days and now it is red, but she says it is kind of chunky and less than her normal period. Now she says it feels like a period of kind. On top of this she has had cramps since Weds, and felt bloated tonight. Can anyone tell me what's going on here? It is driving me crazy. If we take a pregnancy test will her pills mess with the results? Thanks ahead of time.
The dark brownish chunky stuff is probably old blood , it sometimes happens, the red blood is the new/recent blood. I don't think your girlfriend is pregnant, it sounds like just one of those periods thats all, I used to have those when i was on the pill, one month there would be hardly any bleeding and the next it would be old blood and new..............if it puts both your minds at rest then take a pregnancy test, as for whether the pill will affect the results, i wouldn't have thought so, but they always say to test again a week later if you get a negative result anyway. Hope everything turns out ok for you both.
