OK, where do I start...Well there's a girl I've known for 5 years now through high school and ever since that first year of school I can honestly say that I have been in love with her, like truely had deep feelings for her. Over the years, we haven't spoken LOADS; like every day but we have spoken ob viously and we know each other quite well, she was in my form at school, so we do know each other well. I am a confident person and have many friends, and have no trouble around girls - talkignt o them etc but I am always a little shy around her. The problem is now though, is that we are leaving school, and we are going to different colleges and are destined to lead our seperate ways. We had the leavers prom/ball whatever you like to call it about a month back and we had the last dance - but I couldn't take it any further as she has a BOYFRIEND bugger me she has ALWAYS had one. I have been told and feel myself that she does quite like me, how much I don't know. Since the leavers prom/ball I haven't been able to get my mind off her, and now we have left it is possible that I won't see her again ever. I did write in her leavers' book (year book I think you call it across the pond, or so I beleive) and I told her partly how I feel but again, didn't have the guts to tell her fully. So my question is what do I do now? Should I get over her, or try and persue her further?Sorry if this post seems like a mish-mash of feelings, I wasn't sure how much or how little to write. Thanks

It doesn't seem like there's any point pursuing her, does it? She has a boyfriend, and nothing has happened between you for five years while you have been at the same school. Now you won't even be seeing each other except for the rare chance meeting.Time to turn your back on the past. College will bring you in contact with lots of new people. It's time for a fresh start.
