how do you "clean up" right after sex? meaning, do you have a towel or something ready for the leakage? or do most just use a condom and don't have to worry about it.

Clean up?

For some people it does, Amanda. Especially where I live (the "Bible Belt").

My g/f is a squirter so we do it on a towell. We have an plastic under-bed storage bin full of towells. We also have those baby-wipes in the bed-side table.

I find I have to go either shower or at least rinse after sex. If not I'm really sore the next day and usually end up with a UTI.
-
UTI ?
-
Urinary Tract Infection. It's a pretty common problem.

Actually, if anyone cares, let me say one thing about UTIs. If you have problems with frequent UTIs after sex (many women do), you should bring it up with your doctor. Inexpensive, low-grade antibiotics are often recommended as a preventative measure. From personal experience, these pills are very effective.

Everyone, but most importantly women, should urinate after sex to expel any bacteria that has been pushed into the urethra though sex. The urine flow will usually flush out any bacteria and help prevent UTI's

Yes, the peeing definitely helps. I have not been able to try prolonged antibiotics since I've been either pregnant or breastfeeding for most of my sexually active life.
I also find it good to keep cranberry juice on hand, it's good for the urinary tract.
