I'm trying to print out mailing labels in Microsoft Word. I know how to print out an entire sheet with the same address on it, but how do I set it up to print out an entire label sheet with different addresss on each label? I can print out one label at a time, but I know there's a way to just quickly type in the different addresses and print them out all at once.

This might be a dumb question but...

I know what you need but I can't remember what its called. There is definately a special option for it, I think its somewhere in the Tools menu. I'd check but I've just reformatted my computer, so it isn't installed yet.

I use the envelope and label option under the tools menu to print one label or an entire sheet of labels with the same address, I just need to figure out how to print out an entire sheet of labels with different addresses all at once

It's done using Mail Merge. In Word 2003, it's Tools, Letters and Mailings, Mail Merge, then follow the pane that appears. In earlier versions it's a little different. The system will assume that you have, or will make, a database containing the address data. The database can be in Access or Excel or just in a Word table in a separate document.

Thats the one! I learnt that years ago in school, obviously it didn't stick very well.

Thanks...I also discovered the "new document" button under that envelopes and lables menu...that seems to look like it would work as well?

In my experience, MS has nothing to offer to the office professional other than a WP and a SS. If you want to manage mailings and contacts, use ACT. It's a bitch to fight with to get it to do what you want, but once you master it, it really does the job!!Outlook is a total fucking toy! It does nothing to help you as a business-person. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Sory for my adamantcy, but I've been there too often.Other than that, how are you doing at the new job?

> Outlook is a total fucking toy!
Even the latest version? It's a great improvement over the old one.

I'm forced to use the latest Outlook Exchange over a VPN. It's shit. It might be the most non-intuitive piece of SW I've used in the last 10 yrs.the contact search function is a fine example of it's weakness
