They're are lots of posts on this site with someone saying that they have or had to take a shower for gym for a grade. How ON EARTH do the teachers know if you take one or not, escpecially if the gym coach is a woman? Couldn't you just wet your hair or something, I would never take a shower for gym cuz I don;t want to take two showers in a day!

How do gym teachers know if you take a shower.
-
Yep just wet your hair and feet and make some footprints and they will never know. Did it for every gym class I ever did and had a shower when we went home straight after the lesson.
-
Neither was it required at my school. But I would imagine a female teacher would just rely on the other students ratting you out.

But what's the big deal with showers at school, in my gym class, the whole class can get hot as they can, but usually no one just plain out stinks, or if they start to, they just cover it up with deoderant, and no one knows,

I was never made to have showers in phys ed, and I don't understand the need. There's a reason we have deodorant, and that people shower every day. Being forced to shower after phys ed can be very uncomfortable for many people, and it's not like they're going to stink right away if they use deodorant. Personally, I'm often sweating heavily by the time I get to school every morning when I rollerblade (in other words, whenever it's not the winter). Are they going to give me a chance to shower before my class? No. Forcing people to shower after phys ed is pointless tradition.

Yup. It's pointless unless you really sweat and are going to stink. As for me, I hated PE so I just sat off to the side and watched everyone else play so that I never got dirty and had no need to take a shower. Of course, even though they got dirty, no one took a shower anyway.
