Ok yesterday after having sex, he complained about his groin aching afterwards........this afternoon, he had to actually stop cos he was in so much pain. He says it felt like being kicked there, the throbbin ache, inside, now he had a vasectomy a couple of years ago, and has had no problems since, but he does say that its in the round-about area of the tied tubes, where the little scar is.............so anyone else had a vasectomy and had this happen, anyone have any ideas, I will of course be making him a docs appointment, cos i don't think we will be having sex till hes painfree bless him........
-
Any ideas............................?
-
That does indeed sound like an unfortunate complication. A bit unusual it developed after so long, though...He is sure one of his testicles isn't twisted somewhat? Or some other positioning misfortune? Only thing that comes to mind.
-
**I don't think its anything to do with the vasectomy actually, just putting in all the facts...........all i know is that it hurt, a lot.........just checked his testicles *grin* and they look ok to me, even tho he does have an odd look on his face now LOL and I have been very gentle with him the last few days, so its not that i have pulled him or anything.........i don't know im lost which is why i posted LOL **
-
Wow... well, I am sorry to say this and cringe to do it, but the most likely thing does seem to be cancer. A tumor could be applying unfortunate pressure on him from within.Bear in mind, of course, that I am not a medical professional. There are many other things it could be, and I am notorious for lousy judgement (I once slept with an ex-girlfriend, even though I barely could tolerate her). I just don't know what any of these other things are, is all.Tell him I hope his balls are okay. That'll REALLY make him look at you funny.
-
**You're right, now he thinks we're both bloody weird LOL **
-
I just love it when people jump to conclusions and say.. "Oh yeah, it must be cancer". SheeshAngel, it's possible that he has some testicular torsion going on. That's when a testicle twists inside the scrotum.
-
thanks hon, is there any way i can feel for it, and have you any idea how to make it right, does it just go right or will a doctor do something?????
-
I have no idea. If it is torsion, there is a minor surgical procedure that can be done to keep it from happening again. If the torsion is bad, the testicle can be lost becasue the blood flow is disrupted and the testicle can die. Better off not delaying a visit to the doctor.

well the appointment is made, for thursday, so we will see, i hope its nothing serious.....
-
**ok so i have narrowed down the area, its to the left of his penis, inbetween the base of it and his balls...........but nearer his penis.......so not actually his balls.......... **
-
A hernia perhaps?
-
mrphaethon> but the most likely thing does seem to be cancermrphaethon, you are way out of your depth. Angel, this thread might be useful.
-
Simple solution... kiss it better.
-
I did kiss it better last night, in a scientific experiment of course to find out where the pain was 'exactly' and it seems that the hard he gets the more it aches, around the base of his penis, i could tell when it ached more as he would go a little soft in my mouth.......he never told me to stop tho LOL
-
SDP and Steve, I was initially going to post something like, "I tried to make it clear I am not a medical professional, that there were certainly many other possibilities I was not aware of." But there really doesn't seem to be much point in a lengthy explanation, since I realize that you (Steve particularly) take a particular enjoyment out of eviscerating the advice of others. So.. umm... have fun, I guess.
-
Sometimes it's better to just be quiet than make off the wall comments like, "Yup, it sounds like cancer. Yeah you're probably going to die.. Blaablaahhh". A better thing to say would be to go see a doctor to make sure it's nothing serious.
-
Or everyone could just understand where a person is coming from and not fly off the hand to judge/bash a persons post. It works both ways
because I think honestly his post was well done.. he stated what in his mind it could be (Even if it is exteme) but that stated he's not a professional and there are many other things it could be as well.
-
None us(that I know of) are professionals in the medical field and thus need to defer judgement to them. I understand that he wanted to help, but extreme or bad advise can be detrimental to a person. I know that Angel and her husband are adults and can weed through nonsense, but extreme comments like that can really freak out the younger individuals.
-
I am notorious for lousy judgement That should have been your clue to think before posting. Telling someone that "the most likely thing does seem to be cancer" is tantamount to a kick in the head. If you have had cancer, or know someone who has, you would hopefully know that. It's not something to be taken lightly. All I said is that you were out of your depth. Do you disagree with that? You might have done a bit of research before posting...or just not posted.NtroducingMyself, you clearly jumped into this thread just to pile on, since you had nothing to add to the topic of the thread. Medical questions are not like "what's your favorite way to masturbate" questions. People who don't really know what they're talking about should keep quiet. Real harm can be caused by giving someone bogus advice.

k good point. but instead of slagging guys lets acctually talk bout angels guy.
