Yeast infections???

It is possible. You can use yeast infection creme on the penis for about a week and it should clear you up if you have any. It is possible that she got it not as a result of you but on her own, but you never know. You two can pass it back and forth.

yeah, that's what i thought. just had to make sure.i'm using this anti-fungal cream now, it's called MonistatDerm. it's miconazole nitrate cream 2% usp. well whatever that means. but i guess i should be cured soon then.thanks for the info, i'm sure alot of guys wanted to know this....

men can get yeast infections too?? what exactly does that look like on a guy? I was always under the impressiong that yeast infections came from inside the vagina and the penis is outside the body so ???
-
Kind of like a red itchy rash. It usually only happens under teh forskin because the yeast requires warmth and moisture.
-
i'm pretty sure that the bacteria stay/grow in the urethra( pee hole) that's how it gets passed on to one another. i'm not sure that you acctually "get it" your just the carrier until it's treated
-
It's not in the urethra.
-
so if i clean under my foreskin everyday thoroughly i shouldnt get a yeast infection even if my gf had one right?
-
It should reduce your chances.

It is possible also for a guy to have enough yeast on his penis to transfer it to a sexual partner without having enough to show noticeable symptoms.
-
hmm... i didn't know that guys could get yeast infections lol

That's what jock itch and athlete's foot are (candida albicans). It's the same yeast that colonizes women's vaginas.
-
really... hmm. I never made that connection lol
-
so its jock itch?!

I had a yeast infection on my penis. It looked extremely nasty but after using Lotrimin AF cream for about 2 weeks it went away.
