I am 5'8 (possibly 5'9, haven't measured in a while), and just turned 17 a few weeks ago. I weigh about 107 pounds currently.I have started doing pushups (every couple days I do about 35 nonstop) and I have a very very healthy diet. I pay attention to everything from partially hydrogenated oils to the dangers of regular milk (i drink soymilk). All veggies, fruit, and organic foods for me.I am not a vegetarian. I do eat meat and chicken, and try to eat lots of protein with peanut butter and cottage cheese and such. However, I can't seem to gain weight. My meals vary from day to day, sometimes I eat as few as 2 a day and other times as many as 4 small meals. Usually a small breakfast, and a regular lunch and dinner. But it doesn't seem to be enough...My weight seems to be hovering from about 105-108 but I am frequently feeling clammy and hot, tired and fatigued as if I just don't have enough energy. I am trying to eat more, but nothing is working!I don't think this is a serious problem, but I am just looking for some practical tips on what to eat to really gain some weight, how many meals a day, etc etc etc.I would ideally like to be about 125 lbs.Any advice?

Try doing some exercise if you're not already. That will help you with the energy thing. Your body, surprisingly enough, will feel like it has a lot more energy if you start doing regular exercise. Also, through strength training you can put on a little muscle.
Why is it that you avoid milk but not meat? Beef and pork are worse than milk for trans fats, and all meat has saturated fats just like milk, although none of the above have much of an impact on your health if taken in moderation (don't eat massive steaks, 4 hamburgers, a whole chicken, etc.) and they all provide essential nutrients.
That's really good to be paying attention to hydrogenated oils as they're often a major source of trans and saturated fats, not like the previous mentioned which are pretty moderate sources.

I don't eat pork, and when I do eat beef, it is very low fat and has no antibiotics. I often eat chicken, but for hamburgers generally I go veggie-burger. I also eat fish from time to time. What type of exercises would you recommend?

Try to eat every 2-3 hours. Youll find you can eat a lot more that way. Youll have a very hard time gaining weight with only 3 meals a day since your body can only break down so much food at a time, so eating 3 plates for dinner wont help you anymore then eating 1, unless your idea for gaining weight is getting fat. It even helps you lose weight, as it keeps your metabolism going all day.If you can go to a gym or get some weights at home it will help a lot for gaining muscle. There are lots of different workout programs. You should check out http://forum.bodybuilding.com/ for stuff like that.
