Hi. I am 16 years old. I am 5'9" and weigh 235 lbs. I am an identical twin. Basicaly, throughout my life, I have done some weird stuff with cousins...when I was around the age of 10. At that age when my cousins were 4 years younger than me...I could see they were developing faster or better than me. Now, 6 years later, they have developed like a normal guy, while me and my twin on the other hand...have small/short penises. Mine, in erection length is 4"25 but it isn't hardly as thick. It is still like a young kid's. I have developed pubic hair, and it is pretty long and around the pubic bone...but I don't have facial hair or armpit hair either. Just pimples and milimeter-long whiskers. Is there something wrong with me or am I just developing slow? Is it because I am fat or a twin? I just don't know. Someone please help me out.

seems as if you are just hitting puberty late. Don't worry about it, you'll mature soon
-
Are you sure though? I mean, it really bothers me, especially when in gym class and things. It just makes me uneasy about myself.
-
You shouldnt compare yourself to other people's growing rates. EVERYONE, is different.
-
i agree with infamous, everyone is different.
-
I pray you are correct...but if nothing happens by the time I am 18, what would you suggest?
-
235lbs? are you overweight or anything? could it be possible that you have a layer of fat covering your pubic bone area and covering part of the length of your penis? Maybe sheding some pounds will help expose that extra length. Usually on overweight people just shedding some weight will help expose up to an inch more(but no more than an inch unless you are extremely obese and your penis is hiding under like 20lbs of fat). so you could be 5.5 or so without even knowing it.as far as girth, just give it some time it'll grow.
-
Yea, I'm overweight like I said. I can push down on the pubic bone and get an idea of how long it is, but its girth and overal color and texture of the head just feels the same as it did when I was a child.
-
I have no idea whether or not this is true in all cases but two of the guys in my rugby team were SERIOUSLY overweight and they both also appeared to have really tiny dicks. In the past year they've both lost a lot of weight and both of them now have fairly normal-sized looking dicks. I guess they're both about 6 inches or so.Maybe if you lost some weight, your dick would look larger. It worked for them
-
Yea, I've been trying to lose weight, and I am hopefully going to be succesful. But do those friends have facial hair and armpit hair? I don't have that yet, so I am convinced I just haven't matured
-
everybody starts at different times. im 11 stone cough and i started puburty early. it differs.
-
girth, well dont worry about it, it'll grow. as for color? everyone is different so the color wont match others. Heck I'm fairly light skinned but the color of my penis looks like a black guys penis.
-
I've lost 120lbs in 6 months and my penis size went from 7" to 8". All that fat did hide it. I'm pretty sure it's still hidden so I have more weight left to lose.
-
Yea, but I still don't have armpit hair, facial hair, or have a deeper voice. All that has really happened is my pubes... >_<

ahh sounds like you are just starting to go through puberty. If thats the case then you probably have a lot more growing to do. Dont worry about your penis size. You will probably end up having a large penis if you are already 4.5inches and just starting puberty. You should consult a nutritional specialist if you need help losing weight. You'd be surprise at how much you'd lose just by going on a specific diet alone. Add in a exercise routine and it'll help accelerate your weight loss.
By the way, not eating anything or only eating only 1-2 meals a day is NOT a diet. Also just eating fruits and vegetables all day is not a diet either. Its the most common misconception of a "diet" and thats why people who do that rarely ever lose weight and sometimes gain even more. Trust me when i say talk to a nutritionist about it. They'll put you on a "diet" plan taylored specifically just for you.

It sounds like you are late. There may be another connection between your weight and your development, apart from the fat layer hiding some of your penis: testosterone helps guys build muscle instead of fat, and guys who don't have much of it tend to get overweight. You might see about getting your hormone levels checked.Another connection is that because testosterone is a fat-soluble hormone, guys who are overweight tend to have some of their testosterone stored in their fat where it does nothing. If you can lose weight, your hormone levels will probably rise.
-
Yes, I am going to lose weight. Is there anything on the weight-to-testosterone ratio on the internet? Or anything on fat guys starting late? I doubt there'd be anything on WebMD but ill check.

After looking for an hour or so, I guess that I've come to the conclusion that it has to do with my weight and that I used to have asthma. Though, it could be that my family starts late. My grandpa started late too, but not this late. I was wondering what I should do. Some sites say that if its this late in the game, the guys should get a 4-month testosterone treatment, where I get 1 100mg tablet of testosterone a month, and then by the time its over, my hormones kick in and finish it up. And the alternative is just to lose weight and see what happens. Though losing weight is hard biz. Any suggestions on how to lose weight fast and easy? One guy said he lost 120 lbs in 6 months...if I could do that, itd be a miracle. Also, what all will a nutritionalist do? And how are their rates?
-
120 in 6 months is pretty extreme. Go at your own pace. It may take up to 2 years to lose that weight but just be persistent and dont give up. Nutritionalists will look at how your current diet is at the moment. This includes all meals and snacks. They will put you on a diet where you will have to eat at set times (usually every 2-3 hours) having smaller meals each time u eat. Some people have 4-7 meals a day. Plus you'll only be eating certain kinds of foods. You'll learn about protein, carbs, and fats. He'll probably recommend you to a personal trainer that specializes in overweight people. I have no idea what the rates are but I'm sure its a lot cheaper than the medical bills you'll be hit with in a few years if u dont get your health in check.
