I'm 14...almost 15 and I had my first period in January of this year. I had it I think just 3 or 4 times, and now it has stopped.I know I'm not pregnant or anything because the farthest my boyfriend and I have gone was fingering/hand job. So I'm wondering what the problem is. Or, is this normal considering I just started this year, or what? I'm starting to get a little worried.

Where's My Period?!

It appears as though you're a (now) rare late-bloomer.IIRC, it takes a while for things to regulate once you get started.

Your periods can be extremely irregular when you are young.

also if u are really active and play sports and stuff, that tends to mess with you're period. You have fewer periods and they arent as heavy.

I think it has more to do with the fat content of your body (estrogen is fat-soluble) than exercising per se; people who exercise a lot tend to be leaner than average.

Hmm...I don't know. I don't exercize a lot, and I'm a very normal weight (if not a little thinner). My first couple periods were very heavy, then they got less and less, and are now just gone.Anyway, thanks for all your help so far, guys.

At the age you are, your hormones are going to be way off balance for a little while yet. Once they regulate (when you pass the puberty stage), you'll likely see them even out and be pretty regular and consistent. Not to worry. I had a friend of mine who, for the first 5 years after puberty, had long (13-15 days) periods, with very little breathing time in between. Around the time she turned 20, everything started to even out.
